Tim Cook revealed a lot of new details about their upcoming Apple Watch in today’s event but perhaps the most important information they shared is the battery life and release date.
The normal expected battery life is about 18 hours only which is good for an all-day use with normal activity.
This means that battery life could be drastically reduced during heavy usage — like making/receiving calls, talking to Siri, browsing on Instagram and posting stickers on WeChat.
As for pricing, Apple Watch Sport starts at $349, going up to $399, depending on the size. The Apple Watch collection pricing starts at $549 right up to $1,049 (with $50 more for the 42mm size).
Apple Watch Edition is crafted from 18-karat solid yellow or rose gold. This limited edition will sell for $10,000 a pop.
Pre-orders start on April 10 and shipping by April 24 (not sure with Philippines but Hong Kong is included).

As for me, my sony smartwatch 2 satisfies me on my needs,email,incoming/making calls, recieving/sending messages, setting an alarm,it can wake me up even in my deep sleep from its powerful vibration, and the best part is, it can last for 5 days with normal use and just 3 days when bombarded with notifications from emails, calls, facebook, viber, skype.
