HTC Evo 3D vs. LG Optimus 3D

The next round of smartphone wars will be in the 3D front. At the moment, it’s just between the LG Optimus 3D and the HTC Evo 3D. No word when these two will arrive in the Philippines but let’s look at what’s coming up.

Looks like 4.3 inches is the new standard among superphones and both the Optimus 3D and Evo 3D come in this form factor. While HTC has been doing a number of handsets in the 4.3-inch range, the Optimus 3D is LG’s first of this size.

Local LG reps have hinted about the Optimus 3D but did not give any indication as to the release date in the Philippines.

It’s still a touch call between the two but if we based it from the comparative table above, which one makes you drool?

  1. obvious naman na panalo HTC. Quality and specs wise.

  2. ano ba talaga..pinag iipunan ko pa lang ung sensation.may bago nanaman O_O

  3. Specs-wise (on paper that is), Evo 3D is more powerful. Twice the ram of the Optimus 3D, yeah! It even has 1700 mAh battery which i think would be good when using the 3D capabilities of the phone.

But there are only a handful of gadgets that could read stereoscophic 3D content without glasses..

  4. They are almost identical, small difference doesn’t matter much.

  5. HTC EVO 3D!. nice RAM,Bat and 4G capabilities
are they going to release HTC Evo 3d here at ph?

  6. LG shot me with Froyo.

Damn LG, keep up with the times :p

On paper evo 3d’s a beast. But price-wise, i’m sure LG will be coming out with it’s promos again, and im sure LG’s SRP will be lower than HTC’s.

  7. HTC Evo for the win. It can knock out Optimus 3D just a mere look at the RAM.

  8. LG only released LG Optimus 3D to be the first 3d capable phone just like LG Optimus 2X and then after that…toink! none of them performs well.

  9. Wow, HTC panalo. :)

But if LG is priced 6K (or more) cheaper, may laban na din sya. :) Hehe.

  10. the resolution of the evo 3d 4.3″ 3D @ 960×540 had me :) tired of the small 800×480 resolution even if its just a little :)

  11. Its clear who’s the winner. HTC!!!
But if the SRP will be included, I think LG will win my vote.

  12. so, essentially, LG only scored by a point on the storage drive space arena, everything else favored to HTC.

  13. kelangan ba may 3D glasses pag gamit ang mga phones na ito?

  14. we will be the first shop in the philippines to sell the Optimus 3d this week :)

  15. my mum has just brought the LG optimus 3D and i signed in to see if it was ok and now there seems to be no way we can log off and im getting it in tyhe neck what do we do to logout????iPhone Release

  16. Will soon become an HTC convert. Can’t wait forever on LG to upgrade its phones to Android 2.3

  17. Any news on the HTC Evo 3d? I emailed HTC CS and no definite date yet. Narelease na ba GSM version nito?
