Wasn’t able to make it to the Nokia N9 launching earlier because I was held up in Pasig RTC the whole morning. However, we were able to get a few information about the launch.
The suggested retail price for the 16GB Nokia N9 is Php24,990 and the 64GB Nokia N9 is Php29,490. It’s actually almost the same price as the Nokia N8 when it was first introduced in the Philippines. Good move for Nokia to position the N9 at this price point.

Sa lahat ba ng Nokia Stores ‘to?
Sa mga doubters that the software is dead, nasa drawing board na ang successor ng phone na ito.
I just updated to PR1.1. That is 5 days after buying this phone.
Kamusta naman ang mga bug ng mga naka iPhone4s?

N9 is strategically priced; the competitors are worried deeply.

a powerful phone and is really expensive plus you don’t get android, not even a windows mobile OS.
What would you do with a Meego OS? Its not even used atleast 5-10% in the market. Bad…
kikokix says:
Great price point for the 16gb version. Now I am torn between the N9 and Lumia 800.
kevin says:
Meego? Me pass.
Dex says:
Hi there, I’m from the future, some people out here were looking for that phone. They’re being sick and tired of Android – iOS duopoly here in 2021. Phones here are boring now????
Joelan says:

Your hard earned money will be worth it.
garz says:
You’re exaggerating. Its price will never go down that fast. Most of my Nokia phones before took more than six months to go 2k down.
Toink says:
Com’n. The SRP is out and yet no mention of when it’s gonna be available in the Philippine market?
We all know it will be available on Smart come November 21st. The only downside is you’re tied to Smart’s lousy services… Well if Smart’s common practice remains… perhaps the first available units are ‘open-line’. Lucky-lucky!!
JKisaragi says:
Nice. Was really looking for something to buy this holiday season. I guess this is it. XD
chinitoguy says:
Nokia N9 is the last of its kind. People who will buy this phone will never get software updates. There will be very very limited apps too… We should stick our eyes with three OS only – Windows Phone, BlackBerry OS and Android. Apple’s iOS sucks.
stephens eloped says:
one word: competition.
@super operation, thanks for a few people like you who don’t act like sheeps.
But I think nokia might be on the way out (nokia navigation ported on OTHER wp devices?)
Operation Super says:
Yep, they just released PR1.1 and promised on Twitter for it to receive updates for a very long time. There is a small loyal group of Meego developers and I am rooting for them. This device deserves it. Damn Nokia for what it had done to it.

actually may software update na. they added swype and music control in the lockscreen. although useless pa rin front-cam.
Operation Super says:
Wow, it came out cheaper than I was expecting. This thing supports Nokia’s TV-Out right?
jonski22 says:
25K for 16GB and 30K for 32GB, for smartphone thats not IOS or Android??? hmmm….yeah the specs are good but how about the applications? pre-installed games is limited..and i will guess no updates for those games/apps…but that’s a pretty phone…well built…
jalapenio says:
Price is not bad. Not bad at all… 64 GB, I’ll be waiting for you.
BiboKid says:
Hi osang! hahaha. Nasa feeds ko na din si pareng abe nyaha
Florence says:
Well when it comes to camera, fm transmitter, micro SD, multiple charge points, HDMI output, flash player and a functional front facing camera, N8 still beats the N9! \m/ :D
BiboKid says:
tagalog. 5k difference ng 64gb from 16. motherfather! sana bumaba agad ang presyo. enjoy ko muna n8 ko, lalo na pag dumating ang belle, yes!
