PLDT Call All extends Wireless Landline

Last Tuesday, PLDT also launched their PLDT Call All bundle — a wireless landline extension where subscribers can call anywhere in the Philippines. This promo is available to existing PLDT residential landline subscribers for an additional fixed monthly charge of Php250USD 4INR 361EUR 4CNY 31.

The bundle adds a PLDT Landline Plus (PLP) SIM card which can be used with any openline handset and serves as an extension of the fixed landline. What makes the PLDT Call All promo more expansive is that the mobile phone with the PLP SIM-card can be taken anywhere in the Philippines and still be able to call any landline number in its local area.

So if you have a fixed landline in Metro Manila (02), you can apply for an extension Call All SIM and carry it around in your mobile phone as a wireless landline. You can bring the mobile phone to Zamboanga or Iloilo and still be able to call any number in Metro Manila for free (and at the same time, be able to receive calls from landline with area code 02).

Globe launched their Duo service last month for an additional Php399USD 7INR 576EUR 6CNY 50/month but only allows for mobile calls as long as the phone is within the Metro Manila area. In essence, the PLDT Call All has much wider coverage.

However, Digitel complained to the NTC that the PLDT Call All promo violates the rules on interconnection of local exchange carriers (LECs). That means, if you make wireless landline calls outside of the local area your number is assigned, that is already an NDD and is subject to toll charges.

This could mean PLDT might be forced by the NTC to retract this service or restrict it to its local calling area (similar to Globe Duo). This rule is being enforced so that it will not compete with existing cellular service.

  5. Classic example of PLDT ng wait and see. Inilagay nila kay NTC ang blame kase na-approved daw ng NTC. Precedent yan for Globe and Digitel, na meron din landline service.. kung hindi aalisin ng NTC yan.. for sure mag-launch din yung 2 ng similar service.

    Medyo yung marketing ng PLDT Call All deceiving.. base lang sa TV ads, ang pagkakaintindi ko.. I can call anywhere.. to any landline number toll FREE. Kaya nga CALL ALL..

    Kahit naman ngayun.. anyone can CALL ALL di ba.. may bayad nga lang.. eh kung ganun din naman pala, medyo sablay yung advertisement.

  8. Globe, PLDT and Digitel are all the same. Instead of investing first on making their current equipments to handle the demand, benta sila ng benta ng bagong produkto.

    dapat sana, ayusin muna nila ang bulok na at mabagal na internet infrastructure nila pati nadin ang kanilang, always busy na phone services.

    also, tama nga naman si Digitel dun sa complaint nya pero bakit ba lagi na lang pinipigilan ng mga corporation ito na maging libre ang connection ng bawat pilipino?

  9. PLDT CALL ALL is only application to ALL PLDT SUBSCRIBER na walang na avail na promo nila. KAtulad ng MYDSL PLAN 999. kasi ako yung dsl ko sa PLAN 999 and i called 171 to asked if pwede ako mag avail ng CALL ALL PROMO nila pero sabi ng CUSTOMER REP. di na pwede kasi merun pa kaming ON GOING CONTRACT SA PROMO NILA W/C IS THE DSL PLAN 999.
    Sa madaling salita kapag PLDT SUBSCRIBer ka dapat isang promo lang ang pwede mo ma avail.. yun na.. :(

  10. to Wha: I think even if you have an on-going contract with pldt re: dsl plan 999, you can still avail of their call all promo, what i understand is that the new lock-in period for the call all promo will supersede your existing lock-in period for dsl 999.

  12. MY DSL PLAN 999 1MBPS XPERIENCE IS NOT A PROMO. IT’S A REGULAR ADD ON SERVICE. MOST OF THE TIME WE ARE MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE THAN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE.

    Dapat bawat line ng DSL ay dapat fixed ung speed at hindi ung kasalukuyang ginagawa nila na shared ung speed ng mga subscribers kaya pag heavy ung traffic eh bumabagal.

    Example if they have 100 subscribers with 1Mbps plans, dapat eh 100 X 1Mbps = 100Mbps and dapat bandwidth ng system nila nd eung 100 subscriber nga na may 1Mbps plan each pero ang bandwidth ng system nila eh 50Mbps lang na shared so pag sabay sabay gumamit eh babagal na.

  15. From the information I got from PLDT. Call All is for residential subscribers only. Business Line Subscribers can still apply but it’s still at P360 monthly with no national roaming capability. For those who have applied before May 24 who have a P360 plan, effective June 1, 2009, automatically migrated to Plan 250 na kayo complete with roaming. Meaning you can bring your PLP anywhere in the country and make/receive calls. Calls to your local calling area (home base) have no charge.

    As per the complaint, no news on this yet. NTC is still waiting for a complainant. Digitel, on the other hand, is not yet filing a complaint. They are only questioning the legality of the service.

  16. PLDT call all requires a 24 month lock in period for both CALL ALL and the Landline. After the promo period in August, the subscriber will be charged P1.00 per minute for outgoing calls (its the catch and fine print). Prior to August 01, outgoing calls is unlimited. I guess Suntel and Globe Duo is better, unlimited and not misleading.

  18. Why not just make all NDD calls, flat rate calls? We all know that telcos are raking in profits as it is already… They can actually afford to do that…

  20. PLDT MyDSL Plan 999 is bulok, also tried Sun broadband and true enough that its the same as Smart Bro Bulokband too. Switched to Eastern Telecom and now i no longer argue with my wife and boss ;)

  21. to those interested in getting the PLDT Call All Promo, think twice and better read the agreement they will ask you to sign kasi what I understand from it eh may minimum of 2 year lock-in period, wherein you’ll be ask to pay pre-termination fee of P2500 for each Call All Service Bundle (Landline Post paid + wireless sim) or P5000 for the two lines and if you have mydsl additional P 2500 or a total of P7500 pre-termination fee in case you opt to discontinue the service under 2 years or after every renewal. Here’s the catch ng PLDT…. after completing the minimum 2 year lock in period, it will automatically renew your contract every two years. so tali ka na nman sa contract at laging may lock-in period n 2 years, in effect laging may pte-termination fee of 5000 or 7500 dpending on your service bundle. Unlike other TELCOS, after the lock-in period malaya ka na to continue or discontinue the service, but with this PLDT Call All Service, mukhang forever kang matatali sa every 2 years na contract.

    kakakuha ko lang ng free sim ko ng CALL ALL at gusto ko lang iclarify ang sinasabi ng iba na di pede mag avail ang may bundled na landline. Hindi po totoo yan actually ako nakaPLAN 990 at nung monday pumunta ako sa Business office nila sa Espana Manila at nakuha ko kaagad ang free sim ko. With regards sa contract may option daw ang subscriber kong itutuloy o hindi after ng lock-in period kasi may pipirmahan daw ako ulit na contract kung mag eextend ako ng contract…

    Regarding sa rates nila yung promo period eh para daw sa mga magsusubscribe within the period can enjoy unlimited calls to all same area code kung san nakabundle anywhere in the country within the lock-in period that means pag nagsubscribe ka after the promo at iba nanaman ang promo nila un ang maiaapply sayo na rates and services for 2years.

    PLDT CALL ALL RATES & SERVICES:
    -Calls to Same area code no charge 10mins per call. You can bring the unit anywhere in the country.
    -Calls to any landline other area code will be charge by 1Php
    -Calls to cellphone is Php5.50 per minute.
    -250 free text to all PLDT landline plus and smart cell

    For example:
    Manila ang area code mo. Pagpumunta ka sa ibang lugar kung baga outside 02 area code magagamit mo parin siya at libre ang tawag sa manila. Pero kung tatawag ka sa landline ng kapit bahay mo sa pinuntahan mong probinsiya gamit ang call all maccharge ka ng 1peso per minute kahit anong network so ibig sabihin NDD na ang tawag mo kahit nasa parehong lugar lang kayo kasi nga iba na ang area code ng pinuntahan mong lugar.

  24. Walang hiya tong PLDT na to hanggang ngayon wala paring signal ang nakuha kung simcard error in activation daw sabi ng PLDT naka 3 beses na ako bumalik sa Business office nila. Matagal daw talaga pag activate, pero nadulas ang isang CS rep na yung iba daw eh na aactivate naman kaagad… Sino ba naka avail dito na iba na kapareho ng problema ko 4 days na di parin kasi activated sakin.

  25. nakakuha lan ako ng sim na to nun June 5, 2009 sa booth nila sa Megamall. Sabi sakin nun agent na pinag-applyan ko, P250 lan daw per month for residential subs, tas P360/month nman for Business subs. So get nman ang lola mo.. oks nman ung service, super tagal nga lan magreply ng system pag ngcheck ka ng avail free txt mo, minsan nga wala pa reply. Tas one time nagcheck ako ng bill/statement.. gulat ako kz ung total charge ko is P1350 ( Plan990 + P360) hindi P250 ung chinarge nila sakin. 2mawag ako sa rep nila for 3x, 1st 2 calls ko sa kanila puro down daw system, unable to see the records ( partida tanghaling tapat downtime sila ha). The 3rd rep told me naka-Call All SErvice nga daw ung line ko for residential, so dapat P250 lan daw tlga. At ang advice sakin bayaran ko daw muna ung full amount, tas for adjustment na lan daw ung dpat i-adjust by next month (wow!! ayos din no??!) and take note, P60 free sms lan, hindi 250 free sms.

  26. Thanks sa mga kuro kuro ninyong lahat, siguradong hindi na ako kukuha ng PLDT call all,it is indeed a trick, I thought you can call anyone in the Philippines with no extra charge. Better I get a sun cellular, dami ng pipz na naka sun naman e, I can get used to hard connection at times, di naman lagi e. And for all those using MyDSL 999, downgrade nyo na lang dun sa bundle 990 (landline plus DSL), parang pareho lang speed naman e.

  27. LJ Nagamit mo kagad ang sim mo? Sa akin until now wala paring signal almost 7 days na siya simula ng kinuha ko sa PLDT Business office sa Sampaloc, Manila. Grabe ang tagal-tagal talaga. Nakakainis pa hindi ka makapag check ng status pag weekends at Holiday di gaya sa Globe, Bayantel 24/7 sila.

  28. c00lzap, I agree. PLDT is the biggest telecommunication company pero hindi sila 24/7 in terms of customer service via 171. And ang mga office nila sa mga malls ay hanggang 7PM lang. Ako pumupunta sa PLDT megamall. Kahit na 6PM palang, tatanggi na ang guard na bigyan ka ng number kasi magsasara na raw sila ng 7PM, paalisin ka pa. Totally unfriendly, unprofessional in talking with customers, totally does not smile at palagi pang naka simangot ang guard pati na ang ilan sa mga customer rep nila sa PLDT branch ng iyon. Other PLDT offices as well. The problem with them is that PLDT does not bother to retrain or retrench their employee who has been in these PLDT offices for years now and change them into more dynamic, customer friendly people. Hindi naman lahat ng customer rep nila pero in general ganoon ang impression ko.

  29. I applied 1 week ago na, hanggang ngayon wala paring assigned number. Tawag ako ng tawag everyday to followup pero ganun parin sinasabi ng robot nilang representatives, “I’m sorry for that sir! Kindly monitor it nalang po in 24 to 48 hours.” Then kapag sinabi mo, “Ok thank you!”. Sasabihin naman ng robot, “Would that be all sir??”. E yung isang problem ko nga di pa nila na solve e, mag tatanong pa ng ibang concern.. Darn Bots!!!

  31. I applied this service and it has been 1 week since I got the sim card, but until now I have no signal.

    I called up the hotline to follow-up and waited for so long because I always got transferred to the “Concerned Group”.

    And finally when I was able to talk to the “Concerned Person”, I only got one feedback. “It is still for approval”.

    That’s it? Pay the fee then just “wait all”.

    At last activated na kahapon ang call all ko, halos pareho tayo ng concern kasi ako 8 days bago nagkasignal. I called last monday then pinaliwanag sakin ng isang magaling na CS rep na nag down ang system nila since wed at nung sunday midnight or monday 12:00am lang daw nag up kaya ung mga for approval at error activation nung monday office hour lang nila na iprocess. Now i’m ejoying my call all unlimited untill promo ends lang or pag inextend nila. let us see pagdating ng bill ko kung talagang unlimited at kung hanggang kelan ang unlimited nila. Kasi sabi sakin ng isang CS rep sa espan at SM sta mesa ung unlimited ko within my lock-in period so 2years. Yung isa naman sa Espana Business ofc ng bumalik ako within the promo lang daw. Ang gulo nila ah, pero inamin sakin ng isang CS rep na medto naguguluhan din daw sila sa bagong call all service nila kasi bago daw pero baka maging service naraw ito ng PLDT.

  35. i got interested with their newest service pldt call all since i usually call manila from mindanao but if may mga hidden terms pala cla besides from what shown from ads better hwag nalang…yung pldt plus nga which naka enroll ako is only 1hr total call lang free/month…otherwise they you need to reload for you to make additional calls within your local area pa, makes it very expensive!!

  37. Activated narin ang call all ko nung tuesday. Sabi nila tatawagan nila ako pero hindi. nakita ko nalang na may signal and para malaman ang number tinawagan ko yung isang pldt line namin na may caller id. Ang isang palpak nila monitoring ng application. Nakuha ko yung sim sa megamall last 2 weeks, then after a week nag apply yung pinsan ko over the phone ng sa kanya. tapos ing-process parin ng PLDT yung application nya and hindi sinabi na may nauna na. Nung na activate na yung line ko, kinabukasan tumawag naman yung mag dedeliver daw ng SIM, according to PLDT 1 extension per 1 line lang ang pwede. Di ko narin pina tanggap kasi kung mag dadalawa ang line, alin ang iiwan nilang activated?

    Another thing, 10 mins parin kaya ang maximum call dito? tapos you need to call again? Feedback naman po.

    Yung incoming nila ata 10mins lang pero outgoing is 30mins. Ang maganda kasi ma eenjoy natin ang unlimited service nila sa buong 2 years lock-in period…

    MANILA, Philippines—Former National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) head and now Catanduanes Representative Joseph Santiago warned the telecommunications regulator against stifling innovations that were benefiting consumers, citing the bundled landline-wireless services offered by major players.

    In a statement, Santiago said that in crafting rules with respect to novel offerings, the NTC should leave some room for inventiveness.

    “If necessary, rules should be eased somewhat to allow innovation. This way, we will be sending the right signals to innovators,” he said.

    Santiago cited the new Call All landline service offer of Philippine Long Distance Telephone Co. (PLDT), which is being questioned by rival Digital Telecommunications Philippines Inc. This service is basically an extension of a PLDT landline of a residential subscriber that can be brought anywhere in the country and used to make calls to the same service area at no extra cost.

    Digitel cited an NTC circular, which noted that subscriber units within the same area should not be allowed outside the permitted area.

    Otherwise, it said the calls should be considered national long distance and imposed with interconnection access charges.

    The P850 monthly Call All bundle consists of an existing PLDT wired landline and a PLDT Landline Plus (PLP) second-line subscriber identification module (SIM) offered free to existing PLDT residential landline users.

    The second-line SIM, which can be used in any open line handset, enables a Manila subscriber to freely use his PLP second-line SIM to make calls.

    Globe Telecom also launched earlier Duo, a bundled offering of wireless and landline services in a single SIM.

    “New technologies are emerging every day and fast changing the way we communicate. If the NTC becomes overly restrictive in its rules, it risks smothering creativity and holding back potential benefits to consumers,” said Santiago, chair of the House committee on information and communications technology.

  42. Natatawa lang ako sa mga earlier posts. Incompetent talaga yun mga ibang CSR ng PLDT. Hindi marunong mag explain ng maayos. Dun na lang ako sa SM mag iinquire para harapan ko makausap un mga tao sa PLDT. Mahirap pag sa phone ang inquiry kung hindi busy, engot ang kausap mo. Haay!

  45. I think 3rd week of June down talaga ang server ng PLDT. Kasi even our PLDT myDSL are having problem. most of the time mababa yung bandwidth at minsan disconnected pa.

    I applied June 18 and got a signal only 6 days after. with everyday follow ups pa un ah.

    Kahapon ko lang din nalaman through experience na limited to 10 minutes lang outgoing at incoming calls.

    Minsan medyo nagloloko lang at hindi nagriring kahit hindi naman busy yung tinatawagan mo. Bigla nalang nag eerror. At mahina signal sa loob ng grocery dito sa malapit sa amin na mall.

    sa mga CSR naman, nakausap ko kasi technician ng PLDT DSL, yung mga sumasagot ay OJT lang, 6 months lang sila at talagang di bihasa kung ano man ang nangyayari sa company, most of the time nga daw di nila nirereport sa mga technician yung tawag natin eh. Kailangan siguro tumawag ka pa ng 20x at yung tipong nag uusok ka na sa galit bago gawan ng report. Paulit ulit lang sasabihin sayo. correct yung nagsabi dito na mga BOTS sila, at non sense na mag ask ng another question kung yung unang mong tinanong eh di na masagot.

    Cebu Sunstar ads by PLDT today announced

    399 pesos for 150 minutes local calls and 25 minutes NDD PLDT to PLDT anywhere in nation NDD and then all local and NDD PLDT to PLDT 2 pesos a minute. No landline contract?

    599 pesos for 50 minutes NDD and 500 local minutes.Using a sim in your cell you can call landlines as per above. It doesn’t seem to require a PLDT landline as the offer discussed in this newsgroup.

    The service is said to operate in places with Smart cellsites.

  50. ive been using pldt call all for a week now. its really a good product. i live in Manila but i am assigned here in Cebu. my wife avail this product before i went to Cebu. sabi nya for me to call them anytime especially my son. but at the back of my head i know she avail the product to monitor me… hehehe! iba na pag selosa ang wife mo! hahaha! but really its a good product i can call my clients office anytime…

  52. its the same with me. I’ve been assigned to Cebu for a month to set-up our branch office. My wife came with me so that left only my mother, the yaya and my two year old daughter. I’ve been thinking of a way on how to check up on my daugter without bringing up our expenses on calls. I saw this promo of PLDT Call All and I asked my wife to apply so we can bring it with us.   127. sun cell was offered by our subic branch as a way to minimize tel bills as they have this unlimited call sun to sun. the problem is the connection. we encountered problems in contacting them and we have to resort in calling them thru landline or to their cell using other network. since the call all promo was approved by our management, we have not encountered any problems with this service and our bills was minimized.

  133. Ito po ang experience ko about this CALL ALL. Ngayon pa lang, sensya na kung mahaba…

    Kaninang umaga (July 15), somebody from PLDT called me para i-offer itong CALL ALL na ito. Kasasabi pa lang niya, na-tempt na agad akong kumuha. Pero I consider myself as a wise consumer kasi before ko naman pasukin yan, lahat ng dapat kong itanong, tinanong ko ng tinanong. Even calling another CSR to verify kung tama lahat ng sagot sa akin. And these are some of them:

    1. Kung unlimited ba siya sa promo period lang or kahit kailan?
    Sagot: Unlimited siya not only during the promo period but for the entire duration of your lock in period. So kung ngayon ako binigyan ng SIM at na-activate ngayon din, unlimited ang local calls ko until July 15, 2011. Siyempre, ang basehan nila, for the meantime, is yung lock in period mo kasi who knows kung ano ang bagong promo nila after two years.

    2. Kung fix ba at walang hidden charges ang CALL ALL na ito?
    Sagot: WALA DAW. Right now, hindi ko pa mako-confirm kasi bago pa lang ako dito sa CALL ALL. Pero kung lalabas naman sa bill ko na 250 petot lang talaga ang madadagdag, then it’s fine with me.

    Marami pa akong tinanong. Pero so far, yung iba eh nabanggit na dito at nasagot na din naman ng maayos nung ibang posters.

    Kanina lang ako tinawagan, personal na dinala din agad mismo nung kausap kong CSR (from PLDT Espana Business Office) yung SIM sa mismong bahay ko. Ang sabi niya, actually, 3 SIMS daw ang allowed. Pero sa ngayon, isa lang muna ang ina-allow. Na-activate din agad yung sim card ng wala akong ginagawa. Siguro after 2 hours ng ikabit yung sim card sa cellphone, nagkaroon na siya ng signal.

    Then I tried it by calling my own wired landline. Medyo hindi ganung ka-linaw yung signal. pero being wireless, what do I expect? Ang importante, buo pa rin yung sound at nagkakaintindihan kami sa magkabilang dulo.

    Now may nakalimutan akong itanong sa CSR. Baka may nakakaalam ng sagot. Kasi ang concern natin primarily is yung charges sa atin regarding outgoing calls. Paano yung mga incoming calls? Halimbawa, may tatawag sa atin na PLDT landline din naman ang gamit, are they being charged? Or free rin ang tawag nila sa atin?

    Again, sorry sa nobela ko. Sana kahit papano, naging informative itong post ko sa iba.

    Nagavail din ako kahapon kaso lang until now wala pa din akong signal at SIM CARD REGISTRATION FAILED pa ang nakalagay pero mag-aantay na lang ako ng 3 to 5 days daw bago maactivate.

    Sa PLDT Office tinanong ko na kung pwedeng tumawag gamit ang sim sa ibang area code, hindi daw pwede dahil NDD na un,so i expect walang call outside walang dagdag sa bill ko pero pwede daw ipaactivate kung gusto ko, so talagang extension ang style kaso lang ayoko ipaactivate ang NDD kasi ipapahiram ko lang ang sim ko sa friend kaya ako nagavail so magenjoy na lang kami ng local lang di pako kakabahan na baka nakaconsume na ko ng sobra sobra e tawag pako ng tawag.

  141. as per PDLT CSR, all call are treated as local calls even if you are in Palawan or Cebu but you have to be calling to your home zone.   143. i had availed of this line more than a week now. I wasn’t able to get activation till after a week. The glitch apparently came from a data entry error from pldt business center. so all my calls to 101-328 were a waste of a time since they just keep on telling me to monitor after 24 hrs each time i call. so i just went back to pldt business center to either have it replaced or fixed.
    anyway after having it activated a few hrs. i was testing it calling and texting. i was able to send out text messages but not able to received text even from pldt landline plus users. does anybody else have this problem?

  144. I am not aware of the text. Nung sinubukan ko text yung Globe number ko gamit yung call-all sim, nakarating naman, although delayed ng ilang minutes. Now I have several questions:

    1. Yung 60 text ba na free, applicable lang ba siya sa Smart or kahit anong network, pwede ka mag-send basta within the free 60 text. Nakakatanggap naman kahit anong mobile number galing sa kahit anong network. But the thing is, hindi ko alam kung yung 60 free text is applicable lang sa Smart. Kapag Globe, Sun etc na, may 1 peso per send.

    2. Yung 60 free text din ba na yun eh every month? Or Pag naubos na yung 60 free text eh wala ka nang free text sa buong buhay mo?

    3. Yun bang free local calls, applicable lang sa PLDT landline? Or free din siya kahit anong landline gaya ng Bayantel, Globelines, Digitel, etc?

  145. I already have one, I asked my sis-in-law working in PLDT, they (PLDT) removed the bundled NDD. Reason?! the DIGITEL’s protest regarding the nationwide coverage violating NTC’s Rules. For me to have it activated, I have to submit several documents instead of just calling for NDD activation. Until now I haven’t. Abala kasi…tsktsk.

    Pero ok din naman, kasi kung manakaw sya di pwedeng gamitin pantawag sa celfone.

  146. I applied for the call all service last july 20 and to my surprise, I got the SIM + my landline number all at the same time. I was told that the activation will take about 12 hours pero mine was activated about 1 hour lang.

    Yung pag activate ng call all will also depend on your current balance. If may balance ka pa, it will take awhile for them to activate your sim. Ang mali lang nila, di nila agad sasabihin sayo na ganun. They will allow you to apply w/out telling you na may balance ka pa pala kaya di pa nila ia-activate. So whatever happens, you’re bound to pay and be locked up for 2 yrs. Although they said na kung wala ka pang number hindi ka pa daw masisingil ng P250/mo.

    And one more thing, I checked with CS kasi since i began using this service, i kept dialing number +02. I wasn’t informed kasi i thought ganun. I asked the CS and they said I might get billed with all my +02 calls. Grabe, nataranta ako. Pero “BAKA” lang naman daw…i asked if they can check…downtime daw kasi smart and pldt are merging datas. ang weird lang kung may charge kasi 02 din naman ang tinatawagan ko. Can anyone pls confirm kung possible ba ito?

  147. nakabili ako ng SIM last July 23. Lunch time. By 2pm, activated na.

    Then, dinala ko yung Call All sim sa Coron, Palawan. 5 days kami dun ng husband ko.. Kahit nasa gitna kami nasa isang isla or kahit nasa gitna ng dagat, lahat ng friends namin from manila eh nakakatawag. No charges on their side. Parang local calls lang. Nakakatawag din kami sa kahit anong landline, Globe or Bayantel sa metro manila.

    Sobrang tipid at pedeng mag-telebabad up to 10mins. Ok lang na mag-drop ang call, tawag na lang ulit. pero super sulit talaga.

    Nung nasa manila na kami, instead na tawagan ako sa Smart sim ko, tinatawagan na lang ako sa Call SIM ko kapag wala ako sa bahay.

    Sobrang nice nito. Superb.. Sulit ito dun sa mga taong wala lagi sa bahay at sa mga taong di makontak dahil wala ng cellphone load ang mga tao sa bahay nila…

  148. I had my extended line (call-all sim) activated last july 2. I’ve been calling friends who have call-all sim in the same locality thinking these are free calls.

    When I received my billing statement today, found out that my calls to their call-all sim were being charged 89centavos per minute.

    I immediately called PLDT about this and the PLDT service representative told me that this is caused by saving the phone numbers on my mobile phone with the area code included, (045)xxx-xxxx instead of just xxx-xxxx. She told me the system is treating the calls as long distance calls.

    I told her that if that’s the case, my calls should have failed since my ndd was not activated on that sim. Moreover, calling fixed landline numbers in the area (with the area code similarly saved) were not being charged.

    She just said to email my complaint to their business center. But I emailed this blog first to warn everyone… remove those area codes to avoid unnecessary expense.

  150. I availed of a LANDLINE PLUS POSTPAID SIM about 3 months ago and was hoping to upgrade it to CALL ALL since di ko pwede gamitin LAndline Plus ko outside Metro Manila. The customer svc rep told me di daw pwede upgrade to ALL CALL which sucks, because iisang company lang naman na PLDT ang mga svcs na ito. They should accommodate those who want to upgrade kasi babayaran din naman ng monthly. Kakainis kung alam ko lang they will have a CALL ALL offer di ko na sana kinuha itong LANDLINE PLUS sim na to!

    So mali yung sinabi ng CSR na hindi ka pwede. Tumawag ka ulit sa hotline nila at mag-demand ka na kailangan nilang ayusin at isama ang account mo sa Call All. Pag hindi pumayag, ipakita mo yung website sa kanila Bigay mo yung website nila mismo at pabasa mo sa kanila.

    Ang pangit naman ng serbisyo nila! Bakit hindi nila alam yan eh yung information mismo about migration of PLP prior to the promo period ay sa kanila galing.

  158. Last Jan. 7, 2010, I went to PLDT branch to apply/upgrade our old pldt landline (Php691/mo.) to Call-all (Php850/mo.) after reviewing/researching about this product. So far, after 1 hour and after I received the PLDT LL+ sim card for the mobile land line, it was activated and I was able to use it without any problem.

    LESSON: It is always a good practice to buy any products when it is already in the market for about 6 months to 1 year and when you found out that it is ok (in reviews). When it is already tested and the bugs are fixed.

    please see copy of my email to the cust serv department of pldt… pati supervisor ng hotline walang kwenta!!! wala man lang naitulong sakin!!! ang bobobo ng mga CSR nila sa hotline!!! If I’m not mistaken sa ventus ung mga un!!! badtrip talaga! napakalaking hassle!!! if this issue won’t be resolved asap better for me to find another good wireless landline provider!!! bullsh*t!!!!

    Hi, I would like to seek demand to register my account to plan P399.00. Or you may return the P300.00 eload deducted

    from my account yeaterday. I tried to call the hotline yesterday and talked to a supervisor (Lisa Dela Roca) and she

    told me that all they can do is to return eload not more than P100.00. I am very frustrated with PLDTs service right

    now. I’ve trusted the CSR whom I talked to the last time (she’s the only lady csr i’ve talked to for the past 2

    months). I called the hotline then to inquire on how to reload plan 399 and that CSR gave me wrong information. She

    told me to reload my account on 1/18/2010 and register to plan 399 by simply editing the amount from 300 to 399. I

    was frustrated yesterday and untill now because the plan that was registered to my account was plan 300 which is not

    applicable for me and I won’t accept the fact Lisa told me that your technical team won’t be able to update my plan

    from 300 to 399.

    Please have a higher officer call me back as soon as possible. I am not using any single minute yet on this plan!

    The female CSR caused so much trouble to me yesterday due to the misinformation she gave me! Again, I am very

    frustrated right now. If PLDT won’t give me the right action plan for this, expect that this would be the very last

    time I’ll reload using this sim and make sure to spread to all my friends and blog how poor PLDT service is!!!!

    Do some action!!!! I trust PLDT so much!!! Don’t let a good customer hate you’re company just because of a dumb

    female CSR!!!

    I am currently working in a customer service industry for more than 5 years and I know all my rights as a customer!

    Please put a RUSH on this demand to avoid anymore misunderstandings with me!!! I have so many important calls that

    need to be done yesterday but due to your poor service! I was not able to complete all those tasks!!!!

  161. Ingat kayo sa first bill ninyo.

    Ang nangyari sa akin, nacharge ako ng pro-rated for the service, pero included yung initial landline. Dapat 250 pesos ang add-on for the call-all. That means ang monthly is only 850 pesos (bundled). Since yung initial ko ay 21 days lang (from activation ng call-all SIM until cut-off date), dapat babayaran ko is 21/30 ng 250 pesos. Pero ang chinarge sa akin ay 21/30 ng 850 pesos. (Hindi nila dapat singilin yung 600 pesos for the initial wired landline dahil bayad na yun at the start of the month. Yung MSF, you pay at the start. Ang dapat nila singilin is kung ilang days mo nagamit yung call-all SIM and add that to the 600 for the wired landline.)

    In effect, mali yung pinro-rate nila na charge! Eh kung hindi ka mag-complain, eh di extra kita na nila yun. It appears to be a system error, so dapat alam na nila and gawan na ng automatic reversal ng charge. Pero it seems ang gusto nila is tatawag ka para ma-reverse yung maling charge.

    Statement date ko na nagreflect ng first charge is November 20, 2009.

    Ingat din kayo. Check ninyo yung first bill ninyo na nag-reflect ng call-all service.

  164. last month, a customer sales agent of pldt called our landline and asked me if i would like to avail the Promo 250 pesos..

    she told me that the plan consists of unlimited calls to all metro manila local landline and i cal still use it in provinces like bulacan, cebu etc for free call to any (02) Landline number area code. that’s nice for me but i dont trust the Agent.. so i refuse to have it..

    and got myself in the nearest PLDT customer care center and asked for more informations about this promo. yun nga unlimited calls nga incorporated with our landline. 250 pesos lang and i inserted it to my PLDT Landline Prepaid Phone which i bought last 2007 pa..

    i am using it since yesterday. i made calls from province (because i am here in bulacan, with my nephew’s house) to our house in caloocan! great and Splendid! no hassle! no more 10-minutes cut off! wow! no more meters. nothing more i Can say.

    and btw, i hate Globe Duo.. why? i cant call PLDT.. i dont know what the fuck is wrong between PLDT and Globe they are prohibiting calls from each other’s wireless landline.. stratedgy siguro nila ito? last 2008 pa itong issue na ito at ang sagot sakin ng customer service ng globe is “sorry sir, ongoing parin po ang pag contact namin sa pldt regarding the issue. we apologize for inconvenience”

    whoa! lang yang globe.. buwisit kayo! kaya much better pa ang Sun Cellular sa inyo e! Hari ng Unlimited! nasayang ung 599 ko, karamihan pa naman ng friends ko is PLDT.. >.<

  165. Nakabili din ako ng PLDT landline prepaid plus at isang etong panloloko ng PLDT.. Hindi eto talaga prepaid isa etong postpai na kaylangan mong magload ng 300.00 every month to avail the service. Isang pandaraya.. isang malaking pandaray na hindi naman lang inilaborate noong bumili ako.. ang akala ko na kahit mag load lang ako ng 30 pesos pwede ko nang gamitin yung pala need to pay 300/month to activate.. Sana nag bayantel na lang ako na unlimited for 400.00.. At pangait pa ang hirap daw tawagan at hindi rin matxt.. pag ako naman tumawag 6 times kang mag redial bago maconnect.. PLDT manloloko tataga.. Ikalat ang pandaraya ng PLDT.. MANDARAYA!

    Bago ka ba bumili niyan eh inalam mo muna kung anong features at gamit niya? Clearly, you are misinformed.

    Kaya po siya prepaid ay pwede mo lang siya magamit kung maglo-load ka. Kung pa-30-30 pesos lang ang load na gagawin mo, para ano pang gamit nung mga Globe/Smart/Sun/TNT/TM sims?

    Ang prepaid landline wireless plus, para magamit mo, you need to load the corresponding amount at hindi yung tingi-tingi lang. At hindi po siya monthly. Kung gusto mo mag-load, then mag-load ka. Kung ayaw mo, then it’s fine. It will not allow you to do outgoing calls, but it will allow you to receive incoming calls at a specified amount of time, unless maglo-load ka ulit to continue the service.

    Dapat bago mo binili yan, inalam mo muna lahat ng dapat malaman. Kasi ganun ang ginagawa ng isang responsible consumer.
