With Red Mobile, it only costs me P2.00 per minute every time I call and P0.50 every time I text to any Smart and/or Talk ‘N Text number.

That’s without registering with any of their promos YET. If I do register, all my calls and texts to Smart and Talk ‘N Text shall become unlimited–as in no catch, no conditions, no specific hours of the day (unlike Smart Talk Plus and Talk ‘N Text Gaan UnliTxt Plus, whose unlimited calls are only from 10:00 PM to 5:00 PM).

Also, what I especially like about Red Mobile is–when I’m registered with their unlimited promo for Smart and Talk ‘N Text–I don’t need to memorize and key in number prefixes (like *6400 for Smart Talk or *6401 for Smart Talk Plus) before making calls. I’d simply dial the Smart or Talk ‘N Text number of the person I intend to call, and that’s it. And, unlike with Sun, I always get very a strong signal anywhere (and, yes, even outside Iloilo City) because, well, it’s powered by Smart.

In fact, since two weeks ago, I hardly text my Smart and Talk ‘N Text contacts anymore. And I no longer worry that they won’t text me back because, ahem, I JUST CALL THEM.

bibili pa lang ako ng red mobile to try their new promo (30pesos for 3 days + 20min. call) and (50pesos for 7 days + 1hour call) >>>

    wag nating e’discourage >>>
    widest coverage ang smart ….
    support nalang tayo >>>>

why red didnt click? because of their first ad. Sulit nga ba ang unlimited then all of sudden they also offer unlimited. hahaha!! poor marketing strategy.

  14. Avatar for nexusboy nexusboy says:

Red Mobile offerings may be attractive, but I believe the main reason why they didn’t take OFF, is because the fact that it’s still a Smart Telco Network.

No matter how they re-brand hundred times, if they stick with SMART disguising as something else, they’ll never take off. ADDICT MOBILE, a flop, remember?

panu yung smart to red? free din ba?

  16. Avatar for Marje Marje says:

For me it’s so much better, most of my friends are on smart din, so whenever I need to call them there’s no form of hesitation. Tawag lang ng tawag, especially when I need their reply right away.

I don’t know anyone who uses Red mobile. These rates are not cheap either. Sun Cellular and TM has so much better deals. Sun cellular may have unreliable signal but Red isn’t all that stable either. TM and Globe have been dishing out super offers lately. I know several sun subs who switched to TM. But Red? ZERO!

  18. Avatar for mr. bogus mr. bogus says:

tang ina nag promo pa sila!!!! mag suncell na lang ako kung ganito… less than 10pesos a day pag kung mag load ng unli txt-call card

  19. Avatar for Arvee Arvee says:

They recently visited our university (UST) and offered 2 Red sims, both with 1 day unli call and text + free texts to other networks, for a Sun simcard, and 1 Red sim for a Globe/TM simcard. Pero konti lang nagpapapalit. Konti lang kasi Sun subscribers at mas onti gusto maging Smart/Red subscriber haha

  20. Avatar for poche poche says:

yep mahal ng red tapos konti lang subs.
sa globe 25 petot lang unlicall and text nila.
dapat mga 20 pesos man lang.
    mahal din net ng red.

  21. Avatar for JP JP says:

    Who uses RED anyway?

  22. Avatar for nexusboy nexusboy says:

Red Mobile may still be luring subscribers to switch to their brand, but everyone knows this is Smart Network so probably that caused mobile users not to switch. or maybe its just me :)
