Will you be doing a review? Im quite interested but dont know about the quality of the touchscreen.. The calibration and speed in particular.. I have used china phones for the past 2 years and have no major problems as some may perceive.. Just handle it with proper care and it should be okay.. Also, correct me if I’m wrong, but if it has USB ports, isnt it also true that you can put a USB powered keyboard (im thinking wireless from Logitech) so you can have a keyboard.?
Apparently people don’t understand how the tech world works.
Everything is made in China. As an importer and rebrander of products, I can say that China makes top-quality products. Your HP monitors are most often Chimei monitors (okay, that’s pushing it. Chimei is Taiwanese). Seriously, a lot of products in the market right now are products like these, only rebranded.
I believe that the costliness of this device stems from the 32G SSID drive. Those things are still expensive.
Don’t discount chinese brands as lemons. Remember the big japanese brands started out the same way. That being said however, doesn’t excuse them from offering the required post-sales support.
With regards to this tablet pc, the specs mentioned leave me thinking that the biggest problem here would be battery life. 2-3 hours is not a whole lot. The weight and most probably the heat coming from the device would be the other obstacles for it to be truly “portable” in every sense.
I think these things need to get a lot cheaper to make sense. It would be nice to see a major brand release something for around $200/P10K. And it could run Android instead of Windows 7.
Good thing i already bought my dream tablet, Dell Streak. Now im good for another year or 2.

2-3 hours is about on par. My VAIO W only last 2 to 2 and a half hours on full brightness. My other Wind U100 lasts about 3 hours with a 6-cell and XP. the Vaio is using windows 7 ultimate. So 2-3 hours is on average unless there is an external battery or a larger Cell. since on average laptops (full sized) a 6-Cell is usually 2 hours more or less and 4-Cell is around 1-2 hours. these figures are general and still depends on usage, power settings etc…
Battery life is a joke.

My only big issue with this tablet (maliban sa presyo!) is its battery life, baka less than 2 hrs with wifi on.

I’d get a netbook instead. Or you could install Ubuntu or some flavor of Linux instead. Save you from further expense.
