angel says:
kaka bad trip nmn, buong bicol inikot q para sa omega hd, ala p din aq mhanap,.. bkit out of stock nito? pls help kung san meron,.. 093991*****
Carl says:
Puwede naman ang skype (video calling) sa Omega HD, you just have to enable it on skype’s settings. Already tried it and it works.
rhedelicious says:
sana pwd maka pag skype dito
lovelygrace says:
i bought cherry mobile omega hd and it is very sulit.. thanks!
Ian Bern says:
All Android phone can be rooted namn.if ayaw mo, apps2sd gamitin mo.at least 70 percent matransfer mo sa sd card.di kaya maexclusive n nman sa lazada to mga sir.imho, with the given specs, against the price, di na talo.after all a fon is for communication and it offers both.
Aris says:
Ask q lng if namomove s sd card ung mga apps nito? mxdo mliit pg 4gig lng kc tpos d n momove! if oo ill sure buy this.. thanks
Aaron says:
The only downside of this very great phone is the CPU and the GPU. Ang Graphics ata nito eh PowerVR SGX531 which is parang mababa. Tsaka 1.0 Ghz lang ang Clockspeed nito. Sana maglabas sila nito ng Quadcore Variant with better GPU. Kahit abutin pa ng 13k. :D
mr. von says:
pwede po ba makapag skype using this CM Omega?
nsmorado says:
nice to know that local brands are doing good in the mobile phone business. it’s about time that we help promote and buy our own brand. for that price, affordable na siya sa masa… good job CM
Mog says:
I wonder if it’s still using an SGX 531. That’s too underpowered to drive that resolution for games.
Yukichan says:
..hmmm..
..well technically looking at the specs. & fts.. in the paper it’s going
to “WOW” people.. question is how does it perform?
..durability wise..speed and response..
..I think I’ll be staying with Sony for that..
..but good job..on the developments..with the local brands..
pobear says:
been browsing youtube for i-mobile IQ6 since their exactly desame.. the IQ6 scored antutu 5900+ while quadrant is at 2600. it seems that the 720p resolution is a bit hard for the mtk6577 SOC.

Tigrrr says:
Dual band only? Pffft.
PhSMASH says:
:D
IMHO
Tebats says:
putang ina kang hayop ka eh puro ka reklamo wala ka namang pambili
chacha says:
Kudos to CM!
Look at the Big Picture!!! Dati reklamo kayo dahil 512MB lng memory at mababa processor, ngayon nandyan na 1GB RAM at Quad core na speeds, affordable pa. Be thankful na lng at supportahan kapwa nyo Pinoy para umunlad tayo.
PhSMASH says:
@anonymous kung spec lang ng Omega HD ang pag uusapan you dont have to customize your android, para saken kase ang customization eh para sa mga phones di kagandahan ang specs at nag hahanap ng paraan para maiprove pa :)
IMHO lng po
garz says:
Not all Android users are into deep customization, Mr. Anonymous. Ikaw na amg marunong!
anonymous says:
As i’ve always said before, an Android phone w/out active development (custom roms,kernels,etc..) is just meh….
Aries says:
tumpak!
balatricks says:
lag @ 0:24 ??
Bibz says:
To those with questions regarding the durability of the Omega HD check this out, mukhang matibay naman kasi haha
paolo says:
Pass, if this phone will REALLY have the MT6577 1GHZ dual-core (I wished it had the MT6589 quad-core, 1.2GHZ, mas magandang performance) :(
But I’m sure someone will love to have this phone, I mean, 8000 lang, o; Ang Sony Xperia S nga, sa 2nd hand market, mga 10-15,000 pa! :)
Mr. Mari says:
@StupidKiller. How ironic. Good day
garz says:
Talagang may specific na MediaTek chip?
StupidKiller says:
Vincent says:
Matibay nman kasi yan e, nsa gumagamit yan
arsee says:
matibay b nmn yan
yuja says:
Kahit anong unit pa yan, bastat galing sa CM, duda ako and dont want to put my money on them again. bad experience kasi eh.
chacha says:
chacha says:
we bought a fusion bolt tablet on the launch date, upon almost a week of usage, the battery doesnt seem to last long, i brought the unit last Friday to Cherry service center, they found out there’s something wrong with the battery, they said it’s an isolated case, replaced it immediately with a brand new unit today. Kudos to their new service center management, they’ve improved their CS.
tuta says:
lawrence says:
Dragon Trail Glass
BSI Cameras (both front and back)
1GB RAM
P7,999?
Tebats says:
@Tuks:
lawrence says:
may Flare ako. been using it since December. Yung initial problem niya with accelerometer was solved by a rom upgrade and calibration.
siguro wala kang Flare, ‘no? hehe
tuks says:
Gerry says:
this phone was spotted in Thailand…
i am just glad CM was able to bring this home for a much cheaper price!

how about the flame2.0. quad core, for 7k.
downside is the battery.

evollove says:
Gut feeling says this is a re-branded Karbonn S1 Titanium.
http://www.gsmarena.com/karbonn_s1_titanium-5273.php
If so, by all means go ahead and release it Cherry Mobile!
Random thoughts: If MT6589 phones go mainstream here in the Philippines come summertime, I believe the Galaxy S4 will have a rather lukewarm reception once it gets imported. But who knows how the economy will fare by then? It’s election year and we may see another explosion in numbers among the nouveau riche who want to climb the proverbial ladder of society.
darren philip says:
Glen says:
Wow, Dragon Trail Glass??!?!?
Ma try nga to see kung mas ok talaga sya sa Gorilla Glass.
evollove says:
I think this is a great addition to Cherry Mobile’s phone lineup, but the sad truth remains that they have their previous phones left waiting in the wings for the much-needed Android updates. The highly-capable Magnum 2X for example, is still stuck on outdated software. CM forces their customers to buy newer phones rather than taking care of their old products.
A disgusting business practice, in my honest opinion.
As for the phone, it is great to see a 720p phone with 1Gb RAM and the 12MP sensor all combined brought in by a Filipino company. Even if we are stuck on Mediatek’s MTK6577, we get decent pricing and we have moved past the 512Mb RAM complaint we often see for these kinds of phones.
Paquito says:
I believe this has something to do with CM’s practice of rebranding china-made products. Since they did not manufacture the phone, then most likely, they do not have the ability to push updates to whatever it is they’re selling.
evultim says:
pero sa price point naman nila do you really expect updates? pag meron bonus na yan. yung ibang branded nga mismo hindi naguupdate sa mga hindi flagship model model nila. tapos pag china oem i doubt gagamitin mo sya for 2 years, in less than a year bibili ka naman ng bagong model. hehe.
denisexy says:
I’ve been dilly-dallying on buying any Cherry Mobile unit. Hindi ba sya sirain? Yes it’s cheap but still, it’s not easy throwing away 8k for something that would not last for a year or two. Opinions?
ronald says:
Bakit kaya ang haba ng pila sa cherry mobile stores on launch day ng new smartphones at tablet na tinda nila? Hmmmmmm. And when i pass any of their stores, there is at least one buying customer. Sa ibang tindahan wala. Hmmmmm.
ricabebe says:
bakit twng napapadaan ako sa sm north CM customer service lagi marami tao.. punong puno… hmmmm
mark says:
meron ako cm titan. at tight ung build nya kht plastic lng ung likod. pra siyang glaxy s2 na 5inch. kung masisira man in one yr, may warranty nmn kung in two yrs, nako aus na cguro un. 4 sure nga wla png 1 yr kht hndi pa cra ung phone bka gus2 mo na ult bumili ng bago kc may mas maganda ng specs at the same price na lalabas eh. kya kung practicality ang paguusapan, super sulit ng cm. it’s really a steal kumbaga.
Justin says:
.. then after a few months, Cherry Mobile will release a quad-core phone, with similar specs, at the same price.
garz says:
Looks like a bargain!
Ryan says:
Pde!
Bakes says:
OmegaHD is supposed to be a Lava Xolo A1000
Name: king says:
supposedly pero oem nya ay i-mobile iq6… 8mp lang si xolo, si iq6 ay naka 12mp
andy says:
nag announce rin ng flame 2.0 quadcore php 7k
Techjunkeez says:
Wow that’s awesome affordable SP with 1Gig ram. Kewl!
teemot says:

al says:

Techjunkeez says:

infoseeker says:
battery lang down
pero sa price bawi for the rest
mayma says:
Samsung Galaxy Note 2. 3100 mAh. :)
And yes, Smartphone parin siyang maituturing.
infoseeker says:
@ lol
try mo compare cloudfone 4160mah at lenovo P770
lol says:
Anong down sa battery?
R-a-M-u-J says:
wwaaahhh…. Better specs compared to Galaxy Grand with half the price…. The F!
Redperodeepinsideehp says:
red says:
evollovevolvol says:
GG si evollove. Hahaha paingles-ingles ka pa :D
pocman says:
uyayi says:
Ito siguro yung sinasabi nilang 1080:
Video Yes, 1080p@30fps
-> Yung capability yata ng camera to eh.
@Ferdinand Sugatan – napasaya mo araw ko.hahaha
Boybawang says:
@evolvolvol
Galaxy Grand screen is just 480×800 which is orders of magnitude lower than 1080p. Ikaw lang sa buong mundo nagsabi na 1080p ang Grand because its big display + low resolution screen combi is very well known.
evolvolvol says:
@evo – sa link mismo na binigay mo nakalagay na 1080p ang galaxy grand so now sinong may tama? Its people like you who keeps on thinking low of other pinoys ang dahilan kung bakit pati ibang nationality mababa tingin saten. Isip isip din. Try mo gamitin. Since kelan pa naging 1080p ang grand? Matagal na duh..
evollove says:
“1080p yung Galay Grand”
Wait.. what? Since kailan?
I can’t believe some people just can’t help arguing for argument’s sake, even if they end up being idiots and pull down the rest of us decent folk for associating or worse, sharing our nationality with them. TO share my experience, I’ve been flamed far too many times in international forums and websites just for saying I’m a Filipino, simply because they have a previous notion of how Filipinos are like online. Having access to the internet doesn’t give you the right to spread your idiocy and ignorance to the world.
For future reference, here are the actual specs of the Galaxy Grand.
http://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_grand_i9080-5162.php
The more you know…
hyun ju! says:
mon tanga lang siya hahahaha maganda daw specs wag kang mag comment kung wala kang alam ha nag mumukha kang tanga
tribukol says:
me magmumukhang gago nito… magisip muna bago mag type kase.
Ferdinand Sugatan says:
lol. asa ka pa. 1080p yung Galay Grand tapos may 21.1 Mbps HSDPA and 5.76 Mbps HSUPA support tapos 8GB internal tapos 4.1.2 na jelly bean. Mas mabilis din ang CPU w/1.2 GHz dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 CPU. 5.65 x 3.03 x 0.38 inches so mas malaki at mabilis kay sa tae na to.
kikokikokiks says:
it seems this has better specs than flirt/crystal but a lot cheaper… right sir abel?
sirabel? says:
sino si sir abel?
rii says:
lolwut says:
No info on the processor’s brand? IMO flare is still the best phone CM had came up with, everything else is mediocre.
al says:
most likely a mtk6577…
rii says:
mtk6577
Edgar says:
bang for the buck na kaya to?
Tebats says:
Hindi. Lugi ka. GS4 na lang para di ka lugi. Me pambili ka?
Drew says:
Wohahahaw…… lumelevel-up nanaman ang CM ha… :)
Froilan Villapena says:
When is the release?
