Well this is promising. Now I’m excited to wait for Cherry or Star to release a new model that would support this new processor.

Hindi naman sa kumakampi ako kay @dags…but will you please SHUT THE FUCK UP and JUST KILL YOURSELF?
Hahaha, @lololol aka lololoser!
dags says:
@lololol
Glad to see your ass here again, eh? Can’t believe you still have the guts to show up here and say “happy valentines” here.
Here’s some advice – the next time you send a comment here, be sure to get yourself a good keyboard, not that one that’s commonly used in Internet Cafés (e.g. CD-R King).
It’s obvious you’re having a hard time admitting that your communication skills is sub-standard and you’re a horrible typist.
And please, stop thinking I’m MediaTek fanboy. MediaTek processors isn’t my favorite because MediaTek does not want to share their damn source code and I’m more of a vanilla/stock Android fan hence, my ownership of the Nexus 5 I got here. And please, quit dictating me that the LG G2 or whatever smartphone out there is better than the Nexus 5. I’m not a fan of the bloatwares and custom Android skins that phone manufacturers put on their products – it’s so silly and so ugly.
One more thing, commenting that we, your haters, are the “losers” here is just a pity sign of your own silly defense mechanism – an act that gives you a placebo effect.
Go get some reality check first before shoving your ass here and say we’re the losers. You’re obviously outgunned and outnumbered here, LOSER.
Hahahahaha.
I’m all fed up with your endless stupidity and self-denial.

aral-aral din ng english grammar ‘pag may time hahaha. alam naming ikaw din si @Justin…bistado ka na!
gagawa ng ibang username para lang maipakita na merong kakampi?
You’re such a loser, @Justin aka @lololol !!!
dags says:
@lololol
Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with you and @Justin. I have a suspicion that you and @Justin are one.
Well anyway, the reason I bought the Nexus 5 is because it’s running stock Android which is what I always wanted. And just because I support MediaTek does not mean I’m buying it.
What do you want? Monopoly? Like I said before, more choices means happier consumers. All for the sake of giving consumers wider choices and I’m all for it.
P.S. Please fix your grammar and learn how to properly use punctuations and capitalizations first before whining here like a pussy. You just made yourself look like a stupid dork with your chaotic comment.
I know that you’re @Justin and you just changed your handle name so that readers will easily have the impression that you’ve got some buddies to back you up. Grow up, kiddo and quit being a pussy.
lololol says:
I agree to justin. Hoi sa may ari ng Nexus 5 dyan loser ka pa rin gusto mo lahat cheap di mo nga affor g2 o z ultra man lang alam mo mas maganda yung dalawa hate hate ka pa kay justin yung isa dyan social climber fuck off mediatek cheap basrads including you dags and wew and etc….
wew says:
perfect example ng social climber c Justin hahaha

Huh? Where in the fucking hell did you get the idea that I can’t afford a Snapdragon? FYI, I have a Nexus 5 32GB here as my main phone.
Feeling upset because you’re being bashed from your stupid comment? Don’t worry, there’s a solution for that – and it’s called “suicide”.
Better commit suicide before you pass your crappy DNA to the next generation. The world needs to be without stupid and imbecile people like you. Hahahahaha!
Time to get some popcorn…you just entertained me with your unerring stupidity.

Your brain is synonymous to crap. Period.
How does it feel to be bashed on that idiotic comment you made on your previous comment about saying that “Intel Atom is laughable”?
dags says:
You based your comment on absolutely nothing.

If I’m not mistaken, you’re the same stupid Justin who thought that the new Intel Atom is crap, right?

Seriously, what the hell’s wrong with you? You don’t want these ARM chip makers to compete with each other? You want someone to completely monopolize the market? Idiot!
Competitions like what MediaTek’s doing here is good for consumers. More choices means happier and healthier consumers.
yntxero says:
Katulad po ba neto yung sa exynos 5 octa? Not all 8 cores ang gumagana?
Analog says:
@dags
you are talking about exynos 5410, not 5420. 5420 is the first true octa.
dags says:
Yep. Since this is using ARM’s big.LITTLE architecture which is similar to Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa, the cores to be used in the processor will always depend on what the user’s doing on his/her smartphone or tablet. For example, if the user is doing light tasks such as messaging, calling or checking SNS notifications, the power-efficient cores in the CPU will only be used (aka “LITTLE” cores). Once the CPU detects the user is doing intensive tasks such as video decoding, gaming, the more powerful cores (aka the “big” cores) will activate and the power-efficient cores will be deactivated.
evollove says:
Wow, ARM Cortex-A17 na ‘to? Now let me hear from those Mediatek haters about how MT is brute-forcing their way to performance unlike Qualcomm. This may not be a true octa-core like the MT6592 (this will be more like Sammy’s Exynos 5420) but the days of Mediatek having the stigma of a poor man’s SoC ARE OVER. A true flagship SoC but hopefully with mid-range pricing. Keeping my fingers crossed for Mediatek to deliver.
Qualcomm, NVidia, Intel and Samsung better ready their A-Game for the next round.
dags says:
See Justin’s stupid comment here:

A good example of what lengths idiocracy could go. One who does not care about a company who strives to give its consumers a good alternative.
dags says:
LTE for the masses? Hell yes!!!
Competition is definitely healthy for consumers.
meh says:
This is good news, Mediatek need LTE to be competitive .
It opens up options when selecting a phone for sure

This won’t be of much use in the PH. Kasi hanggang 1.5 – 3 GB lang naman iooffer sayo ng Globe or Smart. Magiging 2G lang din.
