There have been rumors going on about a more budget-friendly Motorola smartphone that will follow the Moto G. Thanks to an Indian database, the name Moto E has just been confirmed along with specs and a sub-Php5K pricing of the previously-rumored handset.
According to the report, the new Motorola Moto E will arrive with the following specs:
4.3-inch display @ 960 x 540 resolution, 256 ppi
1.2GHz dual-core processor
1GB RAM
4GB storage (expandable to 32GB via microSD)
5MP rear, VGA front cameras
FM radio
1,900mAh battery
Android 4.4 KitKat
Apart from the specs mentioned, the Moto E is also expected to come in single-SIM, dual-SIM, and dual-SIM with digital TV variants. The report mentions that a batch shipment of Moto Es from India calculates to only $105PHP 6,162INR 8,899EUR 100CNY 764 (approx. Php 4,600USD 78INR 6,645EUR 75CNY 571) per unit, although this is only the base price before they get to the distributors.
For availability, there’s a big chance we would be seeing this on Motorola’s event on May 13 since they previously announced a smartphone which is “priced for all” to be making an appearance here.
Considering what we saw with the Moto G, would you consider buying the more affordable Moto E when it comes out?

I haven’t seen any new moto phones in any mall. Did I miss it or they’re simply not available yet. Moto G has been out for a while already but I haven’t seen any ads about it in any cell shops when i walk around. Are there still moto kiosk or
shops around? It’s like a living dead. You can still hear about them but you can’t see them around.

Oo nga. Matagal nang wala ang kiosk nila sa SM Megamall Cyberzone. Sa Robinson’s Pioneer kaya?
