Oppo Find 5 specs and price released

A spec sheet and price of the Oppo Find 5 has just been released, confirming an Android smartphone with a 5-inch display that packs 441 ppi.

Back in September, we reported that Oppo is working on a 5-inch smartphone with a resolution of 1080 x 1920, calculating to a whopping 441 pixels per inch. That’s the same display quality as the HTC Droid DNA. Under the hood is a Qualcomm APQ8064 S4 Pro quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz backed up by 2GB of RAM. It has 16GB of internal storage, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, DLNA, NFC, a 2,500mAh battery, and runs Android 4.1.2 Jellybean out of the box. What’s funny though is it doesn’t mention anything about its camera. But judging from its specs we could at least expect an 8 megapixel rear shooter with LED flash and a 2 megapixel front.

Oppo Find 5 specs:
5″ Full HD (1080 x 1920) @441 ppi
Corning Gorilla Glass 2
16GB internal storage
Qualcomm APQ8064 S4 Pro quad-core (1.5GHz)
2GB RAM
WiFi a/b/g/n
WiFi Direct
Bluetooth
NFC
GPS
DLNA
2500mAh battery

The Oppo Find 5 carries a price tag of $499 (around Php20,400) unlocked and contract-free on its US website. Let’s hope that Oppo (or someone) makes it available locally after they launch in China on December 12.

  1. I hope the price is cheaper here since China is just a neighbor.

  2. Just a question, is OPPO a US brand? (I know oppoUSA.com right?)

    • CHINA.

      Dont support chinese products!

    • Now, don’t go judging a book by its cover. All the branded gadgets are almost always made in China, so we can’t exactly say that all products made in China are of subpar quality. I am not saying that we prefer Chinese products over branded ones, but we should be a savvy consumer and read up information about a certain product than just brush it off as crap.

    • Spratlys.

      Don’t support Chinese products.

  3. WoW! I want one!. This gadget really suites my lifestyle

  7. Oppo is not an OEM, I believe.
