Three months after its official debut, MSI Philippines brings their flagship gaming laptop to the country – the MSI GT72 2QE Dominator Pro.
So what do you get from a gaming laptop that costs as much as a car? EVERYTHING. For starters, it’s got a crisp 17.3-inch display that has a 1080p resolution, a programmable backlit keyboard from Steelseries, and Dynaudio Speakers with subwoofer.
As for its engine, the Dominator Pro runs on Intel Core i7-4710HQ quad which is paired with 32GB of RAM. The graphics is handled by dedicated NVidia GeForce GTX 980M with 8GB of DDR5 memory.
For storage, the spec’d out notebook is equipped with a 2.5-inch hard drive with 1TB of capacity, and four (4) 128GB M.2 SSD that are configured in RAID 0 setup (MSI Super Raid 3).
Lastly, MSI GT72 features Killer Doubleshot LAN and Wi-Fi 802.11ac for lag-free gaming, as well as a few software-based tweaks (SteelSeries Engine, XSplit Gamecaster, Cooler Boost 2) for additional functionality and control over various components.
