In addition to Chinese manufacturing conglomerate Huawei, Tech giant LG is also set to make a new Nexus device once again after a year of hiatus, according to reports from the Korean media.
According to reports from eToday, Google engineers recently visited the Korean firm’s headquarters and factories as part of an upcoming collaboration. The new device is codenamed “N000”, which also carries a working name “Nexus 7” (not to be confused with the Asus Nexus 7) and is claimed to be the next Nexus smartphone. Part of the tour included visits to the display factories, R&D labs, and facilities concerning features such as OIS and wireless charging.
LG is no stranger to making Google devices — if these reports are true, we might see a new LG-made Google flagship after the Nexus 4 and 5 in 2012 and 2013. As always, the new Nexus devices are first to sport the newest version of the Android operating system, on top of the regular updates and top-of-the-line hardware.
With LG coming into the picture and Huawei also creating its Nexus device as reported earlier, is it possible that Google might be making two Nexus devices for different market segments? What are your expectations for the next Nexus smartphone?

i’m a but wary na sa lg. yung nexus 4 ko mahina reception kaya mas malakas makabawas sa battery. and wifi connectivity is wildly inconsistent and was super slow out of the box that i had to flash a custom script to fix it.
sa nexus 5 kaya wala namang problems?
accel says:
As a Nexus 5 owner, the only problem I had with it is the disappointing battery life. Everything else is top-notch.

Up until now, all I ever looked into an android phone was specs. Until I saw Lollipop 5.1 which is so buttery smooth like IOS, and that’s when I decided I had to get a NEXUS device because the only thing android lacked was with the software after seeing the lollipop update and NEXUS’ devices are the first to get one. I was planning to buy a Nexus 5 because nexus 6 is just too big for me. But with this news, it seems worth the wait. Hopefully they go with 5.5 or less screen, 6′ is just too much for my hand.

Well damn, now i have to WAIT AGAIN! thanks a lot android market >_<
