Sony Xperia SP users are finally tasting the last Jelly Bean version for their smartphone, Android 4.3.
The update started in Australia with the build number 12.1.A.0.266. It should bring Android 4.3 on board along with new tweaks and UI changes. Probably the same with other Xperia smartphones with Android 4.3.
An updated lock screen and home screen, the new app tray, and a new camera interface should greet users once they received the update. Be reminded that Sony just started to seed the update. It will reach our shores maybe in a month.

I’d like to know when exactly is sony going to roll out the update for Xperia Z in the Philippines. Thank you.
fin says:
My latest for my Z is already at 4.3… Awaiting na for the kitkat release… What’s ypur version na po ba?
boyAdobo says:
Wow. I’d like to know how’d you get that 4.3. My z is still locked with 4.1.2? Still got no ota update and pc companion says my phone still has the latest android version.
bil_san says:
Updated ko na sa’kin to 4.3
Funny Lang kasi sa wife ko wala pa notice to update yun sp nya which sabay Lang namin binili.
Happy naman sa update pero wala pa rin yata yun apps to sd sana Sony sa kitkat ay mayron na.

Got mine updated to JB 4.3 via PC Companion. Seems like their Superior Auto mode has downgraded resolution (from 7MP to 5MP) but aspect resolution has been adjusted (from 4:3 to 16:9). I dunno but I think the graphics became smoother.
mark says:
anu pa mga improvements? na fix ba yung weak wifi issue nya? balak ko kasi bumuli
red says:
Yes. Eto mga napansin ko sa update:
1. Superior Auto mode resolution from 7MP to 5MP. Using manual mode can still utilize 8MP.
2. Poor wifi signal fixed.
3. Somewhat faster/smoother graphics.
4. Album app is faster to open. (Dati kasi everytime na mag take ng pic, then open mo ung albums app mabagal mag open)
5. Antutu results improved. 20,962 (best of 4.2.1) then 22,825 (4.3). Multitask is the most improved part. Although para sakin sluggish pa din sa multitasking dahil siguro dual core lang.
6. Power on/off button issue is still an issue, I think. May times na iunlock mo phone pero wala nalabas although nagrerespond naman kasi may ilaw full black nga lang.
Take note. Naka 7 random restarts na sya within 24 hours since update. Minomonitor ko pa baka dahil kasi fresh update pa.
