GCash reaffirmed its commitment to working alongside government and industry partners to advance responsible innovation, strengthen financial literacy, enhance data governance and expand access to digital financial services for more Filipinos. GCash is strengthening its efforts against task scams and other forms of social engineering fraud as digital scam syndicates become increasingly sophisticated across the country. Since 2025, GCash reported closing over 3.3 million scam-linked wallets as part of its fraud monitoring and proactive wallet blocking efforts. GCash also continues to work closely with the PNP Anti-Cybercrime Group, Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center, National Bureau of Investigation, and other regulators to strengthen its anti-fraud measures. Users who encounter suspicious task offers or transactions can report them through the GCash in-app Help Center, by calling 2882 or by chatting with Gigi 24/7.
