Sony officially unveils the RX10 V, its first bridge camera in nine years, since the RX10 IV. The RX10 V is run by Sony’s new BIONZ XR processor with a dedicated AI chip. The Sony RX10 V is priced at USD 2,299.99 ( Php 141,579.32), while Philippine availability has yet to be announced. Sony Philippines has officially launched the 1000X THE COLLEXION in the country, marking the latest addition to its premium 1000X headphone lineup. The new headphones were introduced at a launch event in Manila, where Sony positioned the 1000X THE COLLEXION as a premium model that blends audio performance, design, and comfort. The launch also coincides with the 10th anniversary of Sony’s 1000X series, which started with the MDR-1000X in 2016. Sony says the 1000X THE COLLEXION is built around a bespoke 30mm driver unit and supports DSEE Ultimate, 360 Reality Audio Upmix, and the brand’s noise cancellation technologies. For connectivity, the headphones support Bluetooth 6.0, multipoint connection, and Sony’s LDAC codec alongside SBC, AAC, and LC3.
