Acer has recently partnered with luxury car brand Porsche for the Porsche Design Acer Book RS.
Bearing the Porsche branding, the Porsche Design Acer Book RS has a 3k carbon fiber cover and a diamond-cut CNC-machined chassis. It has a unibody hinge that slightly elevates the keyboard upon opening it, backlit keys, and a glass precision touchpad. It is equipped with a 14-inch FHD IPS touch display with an anti-microbial Corning Gorilla Glass. It is equipped with up to 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processors, NVIDIA GeForce MX350, 16 GB RAM, and dual-band WiFi 6. Some models also run with an Intel Evo platform with the Intel Xe graphics.
The laptop can last up to 17 hours and supports fast charging features that provide 4 hours of battery life on a single 30-minute charging. It also supports hands-free login via Windows Hello, fingerprint scanner, Wake on Voice, and Modern Standby.
Meanwhile, the Porsche Design Acer Travelpack RS comes with accessories such as a mousepad, mouse, carrying pouch, and notebook sleeve. The travel pouch is made from ECCO PALERMO XA Leather that glistens and subtly shines. It has magnetic clasps to connect the pouch to a notebook sleeve that has been fashioned from 1680D fabric. It is water repellant and perfect for protecting the notebook from scratches and wear-and-tear. The notebook sleeve’s detachable lid also doubles as a mousepad.
Meanwhile, the Porsche Design Acer Mouse RS mouse is made of carbon fiber, ensuring a long lifespan. It also houses a DPI switch that enables users to quickly switch between three preset sensitivity levels.
The Porsche Design Acer Book RS is priced at USD 1,399 while the Porsche Design Acer Book RS premium package retails for USD 1,999. Porsche Design Acer Travelpack RS with mousepad, mouse, carrying pouch, and notebook sleeve is on sale for USD 329. The Porsche Design Acer Mouse RS, on the other hand, has a price tag of USD 109.
