SSS branches fully operational to accommodate influx of transactions

In addition to their recent announcement of a Digital Branch, the Social Security System (SSS) announces that all 281 SSS branches nationwide under Alert Level 1 will be 100 percent operational to accommodate transactions of members, especially in the National Capital Region (NCR).

“We will evaluate the situation to determine if there is a need to further extend service hours and hold special operations on Saturdays,” SSS President and Chief Executive Officer Aurora Ignacio said.

As there will be an influx of transactions, SSS reminds members, claimants, and transacting public to utilize online facilities such as My.SSS and SSS Mobile App for convenience. Priority will be given to online branch appointment holders to have an orderly transaction and members may use the appointment system to indicate the preferred date and time they want to be accommodated. Special lanes have been made across the SSS branches.
