If you are looking for a solar charger that’s flexible and portable, you might want to take a look at this ‘paper charger’ from Hanergy. Calling it a ‘paper charger’ might sound like an overstatement but it does feel like a paper and acts a charger.

First, the flexibility of this solar panel is different than those which folds. With this, you can roll it and sneak it in any corner where possible. You don’t have to worry about cracking the panels because it can really flex.
The whole charger is just 1mm thin and weighs only at 110g. It’s water and dust resistant ensuring it can take some rain drops when used outdoors. The only port on the device is a full-size USB port and it’s rated at 5V 1.2A. Not exactly the fastest charging but it gets the job done.

Within 5 seconds, based on our own usage, the phone will now receive power from the panels. We tested it with various smartphones to test the output and we were able to get around 700 mAh on average. That’s relatively the same when using a wall charger.
