The iPad is not just for on-the-go productivity, social media browsing, or binge-watching on YouTube or Netflix, they’re also used for gaming. And for those who want to upgrade their gaming experience on these devices, there’s a gadget designed just for that – the Gamevice Controller.
The Gamevice Controller, model GV150, is designed for the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, and iPad Air. Its purpose is to provide users with a tactile method when it comes to iOS gaming. It’s a simple concept but more than enough to improve your gaming experience on a tablet especially if you find the touch method lacking.
It’s made of a combination of plastic and rubber. It feels solid and well-made and actually feels like a traditional console controller, thanks to the ABXY, L1R1, L2R2, dual analog joysticks, and D-Pad buttons. It’s also light enough to be carried around in a backpack.
The iPad connects to the Gamevice via the Lightning connector and receptacle. It features power pass-through charging to charge the iPad while you play, an audio DAC and 3.5mm headphone jack.
If you’re asking which games the Gamevice Controller is compatible with, we’re glad to report that there are tons of them as Apple supports the hardware (Apple even lists them on their website).
To name a few we have NBA 2K17, Assassin’s Creed Identity, Minecraft: Pocket Edition, Call of Duty: Strike Team, Halo: Spartan Strike, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Final Fantasy VII, Real Racing 3, and Marvel Contest of Champions. You can check out the rest here.
The Gamevice Controller comes in different models to accommodate different iOS devices like the iPhone, iPad mini, iPad, iPad Air, and iPad Pro 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch. They all retail for Php5,490USD 94INR 7,931EUR 89CNY 681 and are available at Beyond The Box.
