Logitech has just announced that it will be retiring Blue microphones and will soon be merging ASTRO gaming, Blue microphones, and Logitech for Creators all under the Logitech G brand.
This would mean that popular microphones such as the Blue Yet will now be sold under the Logitech G brand.
Moreover, on a Reddit FAQ by Logitech G, they noted that the Yeti brand will now be under Logitech G while the Blue name will be used to describe their technologies such as BLUEVO!CE filters.
In hindsight, the ASTRO brand will also continue to live on even also underneath the Logitech G brand as they are also preparing a new product launch in the near future.
Users can already see the change on their website with microphones being offered such as the Yeti line and even the popular Snowball Ice but without any distinct Blue branding other than BLUEVO!CE.
However, ASTRO gaming still continues to operate its own independent website without any noticeable clues as to it now being Logitech G.
Logitech plans to currently merge all social channels on July 7 with Logitech saying that this merger will see tighter integration between all products now offered under the Logitech G brand.
They also noted that users can still get support for each individual brand and that warranties have consequently not changed due to the merger.
