GoPro accessories maker Polar Pro has unveiled one of its latest products dubbed as PowerPole. It’s a short monopod that extends the reach of your GoPro, and also doubles as a powerbank which can give up to 8 hours’ worth of juice for your action camera and/or other electronic devices.
Inside the PowerPole’s aluminum body lies a 5400mAh battery which, as mentioned earlier, can be used to charge your GoPro and gadgets that you brought with you on your trip.
Found on the tip of the pole, just before the GoPro mount, are two full-size USB ports that allows users to charge two devices at the same time. Charging the PowerPole is done by prying open a rubber flap found near its handle which hides the Micro-USB port from plain sight.
Polar Pro has taken their creation to Kickstarter to be funded last August 20. Luckily for the team, the PowerPole was an instant hit for GoPro users and has managed to exceed its goal which was set to USD25,000.

USD25,000. is very expensive
Yan, para lalong dumami ang mga timang na nag-seselfie! Tama yan!
For a price tag of US$25,000; that’s a lot of SWAG with that money! Without the Game Boy Battery Pack, External Battery Pack’s (which we call “Power Bank”), would have not exist today. There is one for the PSP and 3DS….. That pole is something else!
US$25,000 is the KICKStarter Goal, not the individual retail price…
