Apple Accessories by Moshi

Been hunting for the right laptop sleeve or bag for my 11.6″ Macbook Air but have found none locally. Haven’t seen any in Japan or Singapore as well. So when Moshi contacted me about their Apple product accessories, I asked if they have one for the Mac Air.

Apparently, accessories for the 11.6″ Macbook Air is still in the works, but they promised to send me samples once it’s ready. Early last week, I got their shipment from Taiwan with several accessories I picked from their catalog.

The package contains a screen protector for the iPad, a matte cover for the Magic Mouse and a sleeve for the 13″ Macbook. The ones for the Mac Air will have to wait a little bit longer.

I especially liked this microfibre-lined sleeve for the Macbook. There are 2 pockets on one side — one for the laptop and the smaller one for the accessories like cables and chargers. Two thin magnetic coins are sandwiched inside the flaps to secure the cover.

The other one is the mouseguard is basically just a protective cover for the Magic Mouse. It’s a thin shell of polymer with a matte finish. The inside part has a thin film of adhesive that sticks to the surface of the Magic Mouse.

There’s still a lot of other interesting accessories in their catalog. I’ve seen some of them in local stores like Power Mac too. You can check out more about their products on the Moshi website. I’ll be watching out for that 11.6″ sleeve when it comes out soon.

I am also looking forward to buying a sleeve for my MBP. However, I am eyeing for the Manila envelope laptop sleeve.
