Apple has just announced the new Apple TV running a new OS, remote, and a more powerful Siri.
The new Apple TV is powered by the company’s new OS called tvOS. It features a new UI backed by the Apple App Store turning it into a feature-packed media player and mini gaming console.
The new remote features a glass Touch surface for easy swipe navigation and a dedicated Siri button for voice controls. When it comes to gaming, the remote also doubles as a motion-sensitive controller similar to the Nintendo Wii’s for easy gameplay. New games will come out with multiplayer support so if you have an iPhone or iPod touch, you can simply join right in.
The new Apple TV is priced at $149 for the 32GB and $199 for the 64GB and will be available from October.
