Apple MacBook Air Commercial

You’ve heard about it. You’ve seen the product. Now watch the new video ad of the Apple MacBook Air.

The new Apple MacBook Air — as thin as paper. Actually, it’s as thin as the Manila folder that holds it. Digg this if you liked it. Apple’s official ad is here.

It’s really impresive how popular became these populars, especially at http://macbookairad.com you can see what can people do with motivation that comes from that 30 sec ad from Apple.

  2. karla says:

    nice video abe :D

  3. Jan Alvin says:

Will it have any problems in the disk storage?

  4. Nick Nichelle Dael says:

they should make it waterproof. :D

  5. LiNTEK says:

amusing video…. but the product is technically not amusing….. it comes short of what a real tech guys need….

  6. leo says:

    amusing video abe! :)

  7. leo says:

..it’s pure “air” and no substance?

  8. ivy says:

its cool to have it but performace wise i would still go with the macbook. i cant play my dvds in that baby unless i get the apple superdrive, cant do my games. i dont think $1000 more for a solid state drive is wise.

  9. Machinista says:

They really had to exaggerate it, don’t they?

  10. asdix says:

    lol..

uhmm.. i still opt to call it brown envelope (long/short?) eheeh.. i think its quite formal. and oh, imho, the macbook air’s pure aesthetics. i mean, 1 usb port, no dvd-rom, ipod like HD.. how functional can you get with that? yeah, its ultra portable, but not powerful. i’ve never really used it, just seen it… and based on people’s review on the mac air..its just plain eye candy…

  11. BrianB says:

I shall now call the Manila envelope the Manila “folder.”

  12. BrianB says:

abe, too bad you put your domain name where in the same location as the YouTube logo.

  13. Goe D says:

    Cool video Abe. Good job.

@JM, how about colgate for toothpaste. I remembered my brother ask me to buy colgate but he wanted me to buy Close up. “Bili mo ko ng colgate yung Close Up”.

  14. Jehzeel Laurente says:

    hahahaha hilarious!

  15. Ade says:

    Lovvin’ the video!

  16. JM says:

It’s quite alarming to note how Apple and similar enterprises influence our language, so much so that the regular “brown envelope” is now likewise called manila envelope by Filipinos just because of that macbook air shiznit (of course I know it’s called Manila Envelope because it’s made of Manila Hemp. My point is we don’t call it that until Macbook Air came around). Look at Havaianas, which is basically just slippers or hilander or spartan for the common pinoy. Neocolonial assimilation at its finest.

That aside, nice video yuga! Haha. Gotta take that off my chest. Sry. =P
