Apple’s mixer-reality headset that is capable of producing augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) to its user which has been under speculations for quite some time now has been reported to be housing the base model of the M2 Apple Silicon chip partnered with 16GB of RAM based from Mark Gurman of Bloomberg.
This is not aligned with the prediction of the supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo whose prediction says that the mixed-reality headset will only have one processor, with a touch of the M1 chip and other lower-end processors dedicated to handling data from the sensor of the headset.
Apple’s CEO, Tim Cook confirmed that Apple is working on a headset that gives AR and VR experiences during his interview with the China Daily.
