New iPad 3 now selling in the Apple Online Store

The release of the new iPad 3 a bit delayed but it’s finally here. Globe Telecom did their own launch event last night to offer the WiFi+4G models and just this afternoon, the Apple Online Store also reflected the new iPad 3 as available.

Both the WiFi-only and WiFi+4G models are available and ships in 1-3 days after you order.

The retail prices of all the iPad 3 models is as follows:

iPad 16GB WiFi â€“ Php23,990
iPad 32GB WiFi â€“ Php28,990
iPad 64GB WiFi â€“ Php33,990

iPad 16GB 4G+WiFi â€“ Php29,990
iPad 32GB 4G+WiFi â€“ Php34,990
iPad 64GB 4G+WiFi â€“ Php39,990

Notice that the price of the WiFi models are the same as the iPad 2 when it first came out. The WiFi+4G models are actually cheaper by Php1,000 compared last year.

I’d like to ask, oki lang po ba na wifi version lang bilhin at ndi ung may 4g? May I ask what are the advantages of having 4G?

Bought my ipad 3, 16GB wi-fi only, yesterday at electroworld in sm city north edsa annex bldg. and i got it for P26,000 at 0% interest for 10 months which i guess is a good deal.

since its not offically called the ipad3 , but just “ipad” i wonder how many people will get confused at stores and buy the old one thinking its the new one =(

In contrary, the reps will get you the most recent version if you’ll just basically say “I want an iPad !”. It’s already understood. Unless, if you want to buy the older one then you have to specify… Not a problem at all !
