Rumored 4G iPhone HD could be next

If the leaked pictures on Engadget is to be believed, the 4th generation iPhone HD could be coming out in a couple of months.

These pictures could be a sneak peek on how it would look like if they do announce/release a new one this June.

Aside from the usual bump in capacity, the HD label could mean either a much better optics or 720p video recording/playback. How about getting an AMOLED screen with that? And from the looks of it, those aluminum band on the side will make the 4th gen will be somewhat similar to the 1st gen.

It’s still a guessing game but my hopes are pegged on a much better chip — perhaps a 1.0GHz A4 used in the iPad? That, plus multi-tasking on the OS and you’ve got a pretty nice combination.

Update: It’s been confirmed. Gizmodo got the scoop and paid $5,000 to get the lost iPhone 4G.

And apple wants it back.

Really relished YugaTech . You must check up on your post comments. This article has actually been helpful for many of the visitors although several seem out of it. There is no smoke without fire and on that point there are no comments without postings.

Better wait for the galaxy s, super AMOLED, 802.11b/g/n and bluetooth 3.0…. sana di na magtagal ang release… im craving for this phone! as always, iphone is overpriced… and the battery sucks… nothing beats android in my opinion…

  5. Justine says:

this is true. I have read it in GIZMODO’s site. this is really the real iPhone 4G HD. Apple even got a letter for GIZMODO. check his site. :)

  6. Kinny says:

If this turns out to be another souped up China phone I will tear my hair out! Please let this be real!!!

  7. clyde says:

design’s a bit quirky… would have loved an all metal iphone like the devour or the legend… nawala ang design language ng apple dito… nagmukha syang nokia n78 (sides and back) and the screen’s small… all other players are already rolling out phones with 3.7-4.3 inchers… now 4.3 might be an overkill but thats where tech is headed… 3.7-4.0 sounds good enuf… apple please, u still got time before the summer (u.s. that is) to announce the iphone 4g… pls rethink ur design… and please put a physical qwerty on it… just my 2 cents

Ahaha, kakalabas lang ng iPad di ba? Di na natin alam kung ano talaga bibilhin. Pero maraming review against iPad. Useless daw.

  9. unknown3gs says:

micro sim i believe is on its way to become a world standard. our telcos i think are aware of it, most likely roll out new sims starting with yhe postpaid subscribers.

  10. Marcus says:

well it’s actually confirmed, the only problem I see is how our network providers (Globe and Smart) will cater the need for a MICRO SIM on this one. Will they even make one exclusive for IPhone 4G?

  11. chris says:

ive read this at gizmodo, impressive, kya lng nawala sa linya ng design ng apple yang (possible-next gen iphone), it reminds me of my n78 looks, yung corner nya at color, pero astig,

  12. The Teknisyan says:

Yes, it has been confirmed by Cnet and Gizmodo. Not sure if this was on purpose or not but if you are a tech company and has total secrecy on your upcoming products, would you allow an employee to even bring out a prototype model to the real world? btw.. who would use a cell phone without an OS?!!

But if this real, a cellphone/iphone with an 80 GB would be better than any netbook!!!

I’m guessing and hoping that there will be a PICO projector embedded in this.

  17. Kimmuel Roa Endaya says:

I’d want a better iPhone 4G(a flash camera with higher megapixels, bluetooth file transfer etc.)…and if it does come out, I’d like to have one…but for now, I’m contented with my 32gb iPhone 3GS ;)
