VIDEO: This is how the Chinese make new iPhones from 2nd hand units

Have you ever seen an iPhone on sale with a price that’s too good to be true? It turns out we already know one of the reasons why they managed to sell it in low price. Watch the video below to see how they do the trick.

Disguised as a brand new unit, these second-hand units are re-packaged and carefully sealed complete with new accessories and stickers. What I could say to those manufacturers in the black market is that they are really getting better. So you need to be more keen in buying a ‘brand new’ iPhone because it can cause us consumers a lot more than we could ever imagine. Keep in mind that it is always safe to buy these handsets from authorized resellers instead of buying cheap iPhone that will only last in a short period of time.

As a cellphone technician, isa sa technique namin to verify wether the iPhone is tampered or not is to look for possible fingerprints. Sa video klarong hindi gumamit ng gloves yung babae so kung mapanuri yung bibili malamang may fingerprints dun na naiwan.

Purchasing these items can easily be avoided. Just copy the serial number in the box. You can go to apple’s website to verify if the unit is indeed brand new by inputing the serial number.
