Sony has officially launched its latest lineup of hi-res audio products consisting of headphones and music players.
Kicking things off is the MDR-Z1R which the company said was made using premium materials with a wide frequency range that allows up to 120 kHz playback in hi-res audio and uses a pair of 70mm HD drivers. Supporting any music file for instant playback, the NW-WM1A Walkman is a digital music player with a sleek finish and is compatible with wireless features using Bluetooth and LDAC.
Meanwhile, the MDR-1000X is a wireless pair of cans that boast being the most responsive in cancellation of ambient sound. It also has a personal NC Optimizer function that “tailors the noise cancellation to your own listening experience.” There’s also Quick Attention mode that lets you place your palm to the outside of the headphone earcup that interrupts the noise cancellation and allows you to hear the outside world and talk to someone without removing the headphones.
There’s also the Walkman NW-A30 series that have vibrant designs to choose from to suit your personality. It is compact, lightweight, and claims to have an intuitive interface and long battery life that could last up to 30 hours of playing hi-resolution audio. The A35 and A36HN have 16GB and 32GB of storage, respectively.
