Today we are featuring one of their portable Bluetooth speakers priced at under PHP 3,000, this speaker might just surprise you. It caught my attention because it offers features you usually only find in more expensive models from popular brands.
With water resistance, long battery life, and customizable sound settings, the TOZO PA2 seems to pack a lot into its compact frame. But how does it really stack up against the competition? Let’s dive into the details and see if this budget-friendly speaker is truly a hidden gem.

When it comes to portable Bluetooth speakers, the TOZO PA2 definitely know how to standout. Let’s first talk about its design, which, quite frankly, caught my eye the moment I unboxed it. For those who are tired of the same old, bland tech aesthetics, the TOZO PA2 has undeniably seemed borrowed some of the design language of the more popular JBL Flip 6. But hey if they can improve it and provide better price and sound experience why not right!
Now first off, the color. The TOZO PA2 sports a very bold, vibrant red that’s hard to miss. It’s not just your standard red; it’s this punchy eye catching, energetic shade that screams fun and adventure. If you’re the kind of person who likes your gadgets to have a bit of personality, well this speaker has that. It’s actually refreshing to see a audio company not shying away from colors that pop.
Now, let’s move on to the build. The speaker has a cylindrical shape, but it’s not your typical can-shaped design. Instead, they opted to have the edges gently rounded, which not only makes it look sleek and modern but also adds to the overall comfort when holding it.
To be honest I’m vibing it fits perfectly in my hand, btw I do have a small to average size hands so it almost like it was designed to be carried around. And speaking of carrying, there’s this included nifty handy strap attached to the top part.
It’s made from a sturdy, woven material, and it’s just the right length to slip over your wrist or hook onto your bag. It also has an adjustable lock if you will always carry this around.
But what really stood out about the TOZO PA2 is the texture. The main body is wrapped in this two tone stitch textured mesh fabric, which does more than just add to the overall aesthetic.
This mesh gives additional grip, so slipping out of your hand is not a problem here, even if you’re caught in a sudden downpour or just have sweaty palms. Plus, the fabric feels rugged I’ve been tossing this around daily into my bag and it didn’t have any sign of damage nor wear and tear.
Although I haven’t had the courage to drop-test it yet but it feels like it could handle a few bumps and scrapes without losing its charm.
Now on the top and bottom of the speaker, you’ve got this smooth, rubbery material. It’s a nice contrast to the mesh and adds to the overall durability. This rubber is slightly pliable, which leads me to believe it’s there for shock absorption.
You’ll also notice the controls are seamlessly integrated into the rubber casing on one side compared to the JBL Flip 6 that’s usually protruding. I love this detail because it keeps the design clean and minimalistic plus seamless. No flashy buttons sticking out.
Just a series of symbols that are easy to press but don’t interfere with the speaker’s sleek look. I like that the buttons are responsive and give this satisfying click sound when pressed, which, in my opinion, is big plus.

I also like they added a metal logo on the speaker, it is said it was made with a high gloss finish using metal wire drawing technology.

One of the standout features of the TOZO PA2 is its customizable audio experience, which can be managed through the TOZO App that you can download via the Google Playstore or Apple’s iOS App Store.
Within the app allows you to switch between three EQ modes: Standard, Treble Boost, and Bass Boost. Plus other Genre of Equalizers like Dance, Deep, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Original, Piano, Pop, R&B, Rock, Vocal, Treble +, Treble -.
These modes let you tailor the sound output to suit different genres of music or personal preferences.

Then you can check other product line and upcoming devices of TOZO, and my favorite tab is the community where they have a social media instagram like platform within the app.
Also, a section called EQ Zone that you and users can share their custom made equalizer in case you don’t want to fiddle into the nitty gritty of the technicalities of audio engineering.
Also, they have explore tab that recommends relaxing audio of environments and other ambient type music if you want to have that deep focus.
Another unique selling point of the TOZO PA2 is it supports Duo Mode, basically, it allows you to pair two same speakers to experience stereo sound quality.

For this price category of Bluetooth speaker I usually don’t expect too much but I usually focus on how long will it last when it comes to battery life which I’ll share in the later part.

One of the TOZO PA2’s strengths is its ability to deliver high volumes without distortion. Which is rare for this price category the speaker can reach more than average sound levels while maintaining clarity and detail. Even at maximum volume I didn’t experience any large distortion of audio which really surprised me.
Battery Life
Battery life is a very critical for any portable speaker, and the TOZO PA2 didn’t disappoint as well. With a large 4,000mAh battery, I get more than a day of continuous usage. with of course break in between sessions.
The TOZO PA2 flexes a 25-hour playtime on a single charge, to which in my experience I usually charge the device after three days and I even experience to more than a week since when it’s idle it automatically shuts down to preserve more battery juice.
In real-world use, the TOZO PA2’s battery life lives up to its claims. Even at higher volumes, the speaker provides impressive longevity The battery performance remains consistent and can be charge in than a couple of hours which is one big factor why I always bring to my backpack. You can even use the device while charging for added unlimited usage.
Moreover, most of the time you’ll set the volume to 50-60% since its very loud for its size. When I use it in my living area it feels like I’m using a large type speaker. Plus if you set to that level it will conserve more battery juice along the way.
Another thing the TOZO PA2 features a USB Type-C charging port, which allows for quick and convenient recharging. Then the speaker can be fully recharged in under 3 hours. Well I’m glad it uses USB Type-C port its more convenient since I just have to use the same charger of my smartphones or laptop.
Additionally, since its already equipped with a bluetooth 5.3 technology which contributes to the TOZO PA2’s above par battery life. This version of Bluetooth is more efficient than previous versions, helping to reduce power consumption and extend battery life. and not only that you can easily switch to other devices by just pressing the pair button three times and hold to disengage it from where its currently paired.
Most other devices you need to go to your smartphone or devices that is paired and disconnect and pair again. I’m surprised that for TOZO PA2 its just a triple tap and then hold to unpair and pair again to a new device.
The TOZO PA2 includes helpful battery management features, such as a battery indicator light that lets you know when it’s time to recharge.
