New Honda HR-V Debuts in PH

Honda Cars Philippines debuted the latest iteration of sub-compact crossover, the Honda HR-V, in the Philippines, and they revealed the pricing for the different models.

This new five-seater sports a 1.8-liter SOHC i-VITEC engine that’s capable of 141 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 172 Newton-meters of torque at 4300rpm. The engine is paired to Honda’s continuously variable transmission (CVT) which is available on all models released locally, with the E and EL models getting an additional paddle shifters and cruise control.

The Honda HR-V 2016 is equipped with all-season 215/55 R 17 tires on 17-inch alloy wheels.

The new Honda HR-V comes in a range of five colors, the availability of which is dependent of variant: Taffeta White (E & S), Carnelian Red Pearl (E & S), Modern Steel Metallic (all), Ruse Black Metallic (all), Morpho Blue Pearl (E & EL), and White Orchid Pearl (EL only).

Pricing is as follows: P1,190,000 for the S CVT, P1,230,000 for the E CVT, and P1,340,000 for the EL CVT. And for added individuality, Honda is also offering both a Modulo and MUGEN appearance package for the HR-V as well. The E CVT Modulo is pegged at P1,290,000 while the EL CVT MUGEN is at P1,500,000.

    I can’t understand bakit ang baba ng ground clearance ng crossover vehicles ng Honda. Mas mataas pa ang ground clearance ng Mobilio nila!
