Yet another eager member of the netbook club — BenQ’s Joybook Lite U101 is a 10-inch ultraportable that’s adding some glittery style to their design finish.
The BenQ Joybook Lite U101 will come in a 10.1″ and 8.9″ (1024×600 pixel resolution) display size, is powered by an Intel Atom 1.6GHz N270 and 1GB of RAM.
Comes with a 1.3MP webcam, 4-in-1 card reader, WiFi 802.11 b/g, LAN, Bluetooth and 3 x USB 2.0 ports. NO clue as to how much storage capacity it has though.
There’s an option for 3G but it will most probably via the ExpressCard slot. It only has a 3-cell battery to last about 2 hours and will run Windows XP Home or Linux. The units could fetch somewhere north of Php21,000.
BenQ is banking on the shiny, glittery design finishes will set it apart from other netbooks. And to think that at one time Acer and BenQ were one and the same, there’s high likelihood that the Joybook Lite will look very similar to the Aspire One {via}.
hi..where can i buy the battery of BenQ P50 in the Philipines?

I added this post to my bookmarks <3 More of this pls Greetings from South Africa
rather “6 cell battery”
the battery life will be an issue? dont they have a standard 6 six battery pre-installed? how about the disk storage is remains a question.
I just got to have the pink one! :-O
I hope the Joybook Lite’s webcam will work in the Linux version. I read that in the case of Acer Aspire One, the webcam (Linux) only works with Skype and nothing else. Hopefully, BenQ will not be too much like Acer.
