You’re basing it from the Dell website starting price. If you purchase it from there, it would include tax, shipping and handling, and of course customs fees to be shipped here in the Philippines. Considering that, it would really be more expensive than your initial estimate.

Besides, don’t we already have the Shuttle XPC in terms of ultra small form factor PCs?

I’ll consider buying one of these.

I have a mac laptop that I’m pleased with, but I’ve been looking to buy an affordable pc desktop.

I may wait till my next trip to the States to buy it; probably cheaper there. I can always bring it back and buy monitors, etc here.

Those PC vs MAC commercials can be funny or annoying depending on which side of the fence your on. I’m more of a fence-sitter when it comes to platform wars.

I own a Vista laptop but I still think those commercials are funny. No need to get all worked-up over a TV commercial or any OS for that matter.

As for the Dell Studio Hybrid, it surely beats the crap out of those overpriced Asus Eee Box.

Does the HDMI port mean it can output Full-HD (1920×1200) videos to HDCP-compliant monitors?

My bad. Hindi pala ikaw ang nagsimula nung taking on the mac mini.

Ginaya mo lang pala sa ibang tech blog.

    Fair enough.

Pero it would be better if you have one mac machine for yourself just to test it out para naman may karapatan ka talagang mag discuss ng mac di ba.

With all the gadgets that you have maybe it’s about time to get one.

Looks enticing and much worth the buck than the Asus Eee Box. Now I wish the video card can be upgraded then this would be a good gaming rig, which is what I’m really after nowadays. :D

Because if Dell tried using OSX, Apple will sue their asses. Besides, Apple started it with all those Mac vs. PC commercials they air on TV.

Btw, is it the OS that powers the hardware or the hardware powering the OS?

How can everyone else take on the mac mini when the mac mini is powered by Mac OS X?

    No comparison.
