Just got a review unit, an MSI Wind U100, and it made a really good first impression. Just opened it today since it was delivered last week so I’m putting out some unboxing pics.

The unit is the regular Intel Atom 1.6GHz, 1GB of RAM and an 80GB HDD partitioned into 2 drives running Windows XP Home Edition SP3.
I feel that is among the most important info for me.
And i am glad studying your article. But want to observation on few general issues, The site style is wonderful, the articles is actually nice :
D. Good activity, cheers
All netbook including msi wind u100 doesn’t come with dvd drive internal ,i like this if they made a solid state disk like 32/16gb for the os ,it doesn’t cost nowadays .
Does this come with a CD/DVD Writer?
@me – this model retails for around Php25k
@herbert – 2 laptops and 3 desktops. the rest are just review units I return back.
@melvin – the Wind has up to 320GB of HDD.
Am just curious, Abe. How many computers do you own?
I shopped around this afternoon for a netbook. The HP really has the best keyboard, though the price and specs isn’t so good. But this looks mighty nice.
Great form. The HP Mini Note looks better though….but beauty is indeed skin-deep. Any possibility that the MSI will get at least 120gig HDD?
hi yuga, pde malaman magkano ?
yeah.. it almost looks like a Thinkpad with that design and the awkward position of the left Ctrl key and Fn key.
wow, the MSI Wind DOES look neat!
