ABS CBN’s Super Inggo on BlogSpot

Just saw a segment of the new show Super Inggo last night by ABS CBN and the logo credit included the URL to their site (or blog?) in big bold letters — http://superinggo.blogspot.com.

Super Inggo

I was a bit surprise on two levels — first, that ABS CBN has finally realized the popularity/influence/marketing of blogs and second, that they’re actually using Blogger as their official blog. If you check it out, it’s more like a hodge-podge of links from wikis, PEx, Flickr and other BlogSpot addresses.

Couldn’t they just get someone to do a decent blog for them? Or they don’t have funds for just hosting and domain? Go figure.

Apparently, I got word from a reliable source that the management of ABS CBN doesn’t want to spend a single cent on any blog of any of their shows or something to that effect. (Anybody still remember the ANC News blog at BlogSpot? Couldn’t find the link now.)

  1. nagtitipid? or kuripot lang talaga? hehehe. they can afford a decent web host if they want to. ;)

  2. Could it be because the content editor/blogger only knows Blogger? Then, you can’t install Blogger into your own server.

  3. Well, it’s a good start. It’s hard to introduce change. Specially if there’s resistance.

Maybe they’re waiting for good results.

  4. Nyack! Lopez pa naman dila tulad ko. :D Tapos kuripot. Sabagay, kuripot din ako. :D

  5. Let them be clueless. They’re just accelerating the death of TV.

  6. be good superinggo wag kang magpakuha sa whitelady at kay jake. maingat ka.

  7. dapat maaga ang palabas ng superinggo
