The Philippine Center for Investigative Journalism (PCIJ) collated all the publicly available data on Facebook Ad Spend national candidates for the 2022 elections.
VP Leni Robredo is the biggest ad spender on Facebook so far with a total of Php14USD 0.24INR 20EUR 0.23CNY 2.1M in FB Ads, followed by Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian at Php8.59USD 0.15INR 12EUR 0.14CNY 1 Million. Another Presidential aspirant, Ping Lacson, came in at 3rd with a total of Php5.36USD 0.09INR 8EUR 0.09CNY 0.67 Million.

News 5 also posted a similar table among top 3 presidential ad spenders on Facebook and compared how much they spent before and after filing for their candidacy.
These data came from Facebook Ad Library and were collected until December 31, 2021. For transparency, Facebook makes these data publicly available for verified pages of public figures/officials.

Agree! definitely a total waste of money. She should have just used those ads fund to help the Filipinos, if that’s what she really wanted.
