Trends & Technologies, Inc., a leading entity in the country for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) kicked off the launch of their Trends Managed ICT Services program last September 15 at Shangri-La at The Fort in Taguig to a large crowd of company leaders and CIOs from various industries such as banking, government, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, and media.

Alongside the launch of their program, Trends invited guest speakers to talk about the current landscape of Managed Services and their experience with Trends Managed ICT Services. The speakers include Mr. Charles Lim, Industry Principal for Cyber Security Practice for Asia Pacific of Frost & Sullivan, Mr. Ferdi Poblete, Chief Information Officer and Vice President of IT of Energy Development Corporation, and Mr. Jamie Lopez, Head of Engineering and Managed Services of Sky Cable. The event was attended by Trends’ Global Business Partners such as McAfee and Beyond Trust, among others.

Mr. Charles Lim, the first speaker, shared the current landscape of Managed Services in Asia Pacific. Followed by Mr. Ferdinand Poblete and Mr. Jamie Lopez, who both shared their journey with Trends Managed ICT Services. The talks were eye-opening and informative as the speakers explained the current situation of cybersecurity and cyber-attacks and how Managed Services helped them have improved and efficient business processes. The session was capped off with a Q&A session and raffle prizes.
