Sony launches new RX100 Mark V

Sony has launched another RX100 but it now comes with a faster autofocus system compared to its previous model.

Sony RX100 Mark V specs:
1-inch Exmor RS CMOS sensor with 20.1MP resolution
24-70mm equivalent f/1.8-2.8 aperture zoom lens
Fast Hybrid autofocus system
0.05-sec AF response with 315 focal-plane phase detection AF points
0.39-type electronic OLED viewfinder
ISO 125-12800
4K video recording

The new RX100 pretty much looks similar than its predecessor with a somewhat minimalistic approach and a compact body. Although, it’s definitely faster in terms of  focusing on a subject thanks to its on-sensor phase detection and 315 phase detection points.

This new compact shooter from Sony is indeed capable but expect it to carry a bit of a tag since the mark IV was priced at Php49,999.

you would be better off with a samsung s7, but neither s7 or ip7 will have an advantage compared to this. this performs better on low light

I rather buy an iPhone 7 for my photography needs for a P49k camera.
