If you’re a big fan of going on adventures whether it be island hopping, skiing, skydiving, or whatever else. You’re probably in need of an action camera to capture your favorite adrenaline-filled moments.
So we’ve gathered a list of some of the best action cameras you can find today in the Philippines.
Table of Contents
First on the list is the brand that popularized action cameras, GoPro, with their latest GoPro HERO11 Black. Although it has slightly seen a downturn with increasing competition, its flagship HERO Black series still remains the staple for action cameras.
The Go Pro HERO11 Black features a 1/1.9 inch sensor that gives it a 16% vertical field increase over its predecessor. This results in it being able to shoot a taller 8:7 aspect ratio.
It also incorporates what they call HyperView, which lets you capture even more by getting a wide-angle 16:9 shot.
It also features HyperSmooth 5.0 with AutoBoost to help keep your video stable and Horizon Lock to keep footage straight even when the camera rotates a full 360 degrees.
The HERO11 Black can also shoot at 5.3K at 60FPS, 4K at 120FPS, or 2.7K at 240FPS. The HERO11 Black also now uses 10-bit color video for extra vivid videos and can slow things down to 8X slo-mo.
There are also now three new timelapse presets with the first being Light Painting to help create brush stroke effects with moving light in the dark. The other two are Vehicle Light trails to capture light from moving vehicles and Star Trails to capture light trails across the night sky.
The GoPro Hero 11 Black also now comes standard with their Enduro battery to help extend recording time. In previous models, it was an optional extra.
The GoPro HERO11 Black also features Easy Mode and Pro Mode making it ideal if you’re a pro that loves to make all the adjustments in getting just the right shot or would rather have software tweak things for you automatically.
You can find the GoPro HERO11 Black for PHP 29,990USD 511INR 43,324EUR 487CNY 3,722 for the camera itself in GoPro’s official LazMall and Shopee Mall stores and select retailers nationwide.
