Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has introduced the New 2019 Honda Civic including a new 1.8 S CVT variant.
The new 2019 Honda Civic sports a new exterior styling including a newly designed Front Bumper, Full LED Headlights with Integrated Daytime Running Lights, and new 18-inch Belrina Black RS Alloy Wheels for the RS Turbo CVT and new 16-inch Shark Gray Metallic Alloy Wheels for the 1.8 E CVT.
Inside, it has a full-color TFT instrument panel, an updated 7-inch Touch Screen Advanced Display Audio System with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability with hard buttons and a volume knob (New Civic RS Turbo CVT and 1.8 E CVT), Navigation, Leather Seats and Leather Interior trims (RS Turbo CVT), and s 8-way power adjustable driver’s seat and new sports pedals (New Civic RS Turbo CVT).
For the new 1.8 S CVT model, it has a new Halogen Projector Headlights with Integrated Daytime Running Lights, a 16-inch Two-Tone Alloy Wheels, and 7-inch Touch Screen Display Audio system.
The New 2019 Honda Civic is available with two engine options namely, the 1.5-liter turbocharged DOHC i-VTEC engine for the RS Turbo which produces 173 ps at 5,500 rpm, and a maximum torque of 22.4 kg-m at 1,700-5,500 rpm. On the other hand, the Civic’s 1.8 E and 1.8 S variants have the 1.8 Liter SOHC i-VTEC engine, producing a maximum power of 141 ps at 6,500 rpm and 17.7 kg-m of torque at 4,300 rpm. Power is transmitted through a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) based on Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology.
Other features include an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) with Auto Brake Hold, and Dual Front Driver and Front Passenger SRS Airbags. The RS Turbo CVT, on the other hand, will get additional safety features such as Front Driver and Passenger Side Airbags and Side Curtain Airbags for added protection for the passengers.
