Helicopter ride-sharing service Ascent launches in the Philippines

Ascent, a helicopter ride-sharing service, has recently launched in the Philippines.

The Department of Transportation (DOTr) attended Ascent’s media launch, welcoming the platform as an alternative means in traveling through the metro quickly. The Ascent Helicopter Service can take passengers to and from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Pasay City, Mandaluyong, Makati, Bonifacio Global City, Quezon City, Clark in Pampanga, and Tagaytay City in Cavite.

Each person using Ascent is allowed to bring carry-on luggage that weighs a maximum of 10 kilograms. Flights and booking may be done through the company’s website . Ascent currently accepts payments made through Paypal and Dragonpay. As for prices, it can go as low as PHP 8,900 to as high as PHP 24,900 per head, depending on the destination as well.
