The Department of Transportation (DOTr) in partnership with the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) are set to launch a new vaccination program at select LRT-2 stations starting February 22, 2022. This vaccination drive also involves the help and coordination from the local government units of Manila and Antipolo.
The selected participating stations and their schedules are:
- LRT-2 Antipolo Station (Every Wednesday and Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm, starting February 23, 2022)
- LRT-2 Recto Station (Every Tuesday and Thursday, 8:00am-5:00pm, starting February 22, 2022)
Take note though that to be eligible for the vaccine, commuters must register online first at the manilacovid19vaccine.ph for the Recto station, and antipolobantaycovid.appcase.net for the Antipolo station.
In the meantime, the DOTr says only first doses and booster shots will be available on-site.
