Display
The first thing we see in a smartphone is its display, and both the Infinix Hot 11S and the Xiaomi Redmi 10 sport a large display. However, if we get into the technical details, the Infinix is noted to have a slightly larger screen at 6.78-inches compared to Xiaomi’s 6.5-inch. When discussing screen refresh rates, both smartphones provide a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. However, the Infinix Hot 11S gets a point for its 180Hz touch sampling rate which means the user will have a much more responsive experience when using this smartphone.
In terms of build, each smartphone has its own respective glass protection. The Infinix Hot 11S is equipped with NEG Dinorex T2X-1 and the Xiaomi Redmi has Corning Gorilla Glass 3—both of which boasts scratch and shock resistance.
Processor
Under the hood, both smartphones are powered by the MediaTek Helio G88, so we can expect the same level of performance on both. Do note, however, that we can only determine the extent of their performance and thermals once we have both units tested.
RAM & Storage
Both the Infinix Hot 11S and the Xiaomi Redmi 10 have 4GB and 6GB RAM configuration, as for its internal storage, they also have the same 64GB and 128GB options. The 6GB + 128GB variant of the Infinix Hot 11S will be available in the Philippine market in November.
Cameras
The camera category is sometimes what makes or breaks the decision when considering phone options. For this case, the Infinix Hot 11S sports a triple-rear camera configuration while the Xiaomi Redmi 10 has a quad-rear camera configuration. The latter provides a dedicated 8MP ultra-wide lens and 2MP macro lens while the former doesn’t have any. If you look at the front camera, both support an 8MP camera.
Keep in mind that these numbers do not always equate to quality. We will provide proof of which camera is better once we test these phones out for a comparison.
Connectivity & Other Features
Both smartphones support 4G LTE connectivity and dual-nano SIMs, however, their similarities stop there. The Xiaomi Redmi 10 takes this category as it supports updated connectivity and features such as WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and an IR blaster, whereas the Infinix Hot 11S sports WiFi 4 and Bluetooth 5.0 only.
Battery
Finally, for the battery category, both the competitors are equipped with a large 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. So they are pretty much neck and neck in this category, however, this category also needs further testing as each smartphone may consume said battery much quicker than the other.
Which one to get?
Let’s review their respective prices below:
Infinix HOT 11s | Xiaomi Redmi 10 |
---|---|
