The battle of affordable smartphones with premium mid-range specs are getting more intense. Here are the advantages of each smartphone:
Both devices have the same screen size, which is ideal for people who want large 6-inch screens but don’t want the bulkiness. The advantage of the Lenovo Z6 Lite is that it supports HDR 10, which produces a better picture quality when watching on supported platforms such as Netflix. The Realme 3 Pro wins in terms of physical safety due to its Gorilla Glass 5 screen protection.
For performance, both devices sport the Snapdragon 710 premium mid-range chipset with an Adreno 616 GPU. Realme 3 Pro’s advantage is that it comes with a larger RAM capacity for better multitasking. It also comes with a higher storage variant, which is suitable for people who are fond of storing large files. Checking out their benchmark scores above, the Lenovo Z6 Lite has a slightly higher CPU score, but that’s trivial in a real-world scenario.
In the camera department, the Lenovo Z6 Lite has a triple rear camera setup while the Realme 3 Pro has two. The former has an advantage due to its dedicated wide-angle lens while the latter has a higher front camera resolution. We’ve yet to make a direct comparison on both, but you can check out our sample shots in each device here. (Lenovo Z6 Lite and Realme 3 Pro)
Feature-wise, the Lenovo Z6 Lite is better in terms of audio thanks to the Dolby Atmos technology. The Realme 3 Pro only has a micro USB port which could be a deal-breaker to some people, but it makes up for its dedicated microSD card slot.
In terms of battery performance, both of them may have large battery capacities; however, the Lenovo Z6 Lite wins in terms of battery life. It outlasted the Realme 3 Pro significantly by 10 hours, which is pretty impressive. The latter has an advantage in terms of charging speed, though, thanks to its 20W VOOC charge technology versus the former’s 15W fast charge.
Here are the prices of each smartphone:
In terms of pricing, features, and battery life, the Lenovo Z6 Lite is a great choice, especially for people who are fond of traveling. The Realme 3 Pro is also a good pick in terms of screen protection, larger RAM and storage capacity, and selfies. Not to mention that it’s officially available in the Philippines so you have local support in case anything happens.
