Both OPPO flagships feature an OLED display with fast refresh rates. However, the Find X2 Pro has a better display with its Quad HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and slightly larger 6.7-inch screen size. Meanwhile, the Ace 2 only sports a Full HD+ 6.55-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate.
While the Ace 2 does feature a quad rear camera set up, the Find X2 Pro still offers more versatility and strength thanks to its better ultra-wide camera and inclusion of a telephoto camera. The main sensor used on the Find X2 Pro is also better than the one included on the Ace 2. Upfront, the Find X2 Pro still takes the cake with its higher 32MP selfie shooter compared to the Ace 2’s 16MP front camera.
Although both devices sport OPPO’s insanely fast Super VOOC 2.0 65W fast charging, the Find X2 Pro features a slightly bigger battery, with 4,260mAh. The Ace 2, however, also comes with 40W wireless charging, whereas the Find X2 Pro does not.
In terms of performance, both phones should perform similarly as they both come with the latest and greatest chipset and flash memory. Do note, however, that the 8GB variant of the Ace 2 only comes with LPDDR4X compared to the 12GB variant’s LPDDR5. Where the Find X2 Pro shines, however, is in its storage size. While the Ace 2’s highest memory configuration can go up to 256GB, the Find X2 Pro comes with 512GB. This is important to note, as both devices do not have expandable storage.
Here are the prices of each smartphone:
OPPO Ace 2
OPPO Find X2 Pro
Both devices can offer its users a flagship experience, with its Snapdragon 865 chipset, more than enough RAM, and ultrafast UFS 3.0 storage. Both devices also sport OLED displays with fast refresh rates and high-resolution main cameras.
However, the Find X2 Pro is definitely the better device and therefore fetches a higher price. It has a higher resolution display with a faster refresh rate, better cameras, and slightly higher battery capacity to account for the better display.
Both phones are capable of serving heavy users well, and choosing one boils down to your budget.
