Here are the advantages of each smartphone:
Honor 7A
– Better performing CPU
– Better performing GPU
– dedicated rear camera lens for bokeh effect
– Higher front camera resolution
– Fingerprint Scanner
Vivo Y71 (2GB)
– Larger screen size
– Larger battery capacity
Display-wise, the only difference between the two smartphones is the screen size. Both of them have decent displays that are designed to provide a good viewing experience for their class. Users who prefer having a slightly larger screen can always go for the Y71.
When it comes to chipsets, the Y71 carries a Snapdragon 425 processor with an Adreno 308 GPU while the Honor 7A has a Snapdragon 430 CPU and Adreno 505 GPU. The former’s chipset is the same as the Xiaomi Redmi 5A which scored 44,344 in the AnTuTu benchmark, while the latter is the same as the Huawei Nova 2 Lite that scored 59,694 in the same app. Since we now have an idea how the chipsets perform, the Honor 7A clearly has the advantage.
Our verdict for the camera quality is still subject to change since we have yet to test out the Honor 7A, but on paper it shows a better setup than the Y71. The former has an additional lens mainly for depth of effect shots while the front camera has a higher resolution. In the meantime, you can check out our sample photos for the Vivo Y71.
When it comes to battery, the Y71 has a larger capacity compared to the Honor 7A. We’ll know more about their battery life once we have our full reviews.
The Honor 7A is priced at Php6,990 but it will have a flash sale on Shopee on July 14 and 30 making the price drop to Php5,990. The Vivo Y71, on the other hand, is priced at Php7,990.

Mag Redmi 5 na lang. Tapos ang usapan.
mukhang mali dexcription ng honor 7a:
” expandable up to 256GB via dedicated microSD card slot =/= Dual-SIM (hybrid) “
