The smartphone competition nowadays focuses on the mid-range price segment with Xiaomi as one of the brands leading the charge. This 2019, it’s gotten fiercer as other brands joined this trend just like what VIVO did with its latest device — the VIVO iQOO Neo. Today in specs comparison, we’ll put this phone beside the Xiaomi Mi 9T that recently launched in the country, and the crowd favorite — Xiaomi Pocophone F1.

Here are the unique advantages of each smartphone:
Here are the similarities of the devices from each other:
VIVO iQOO Neo and Xiaomi Mi 9T
Pocophone F1 and VIVO iQOO Neo
Xiaomi Mi 9T and Pocophone F1
All devices are quite the performers in their respective key smartphone aspects. Starting with the display, the iQOO Neo and Mi 9T are excellent devices especially for people who are fond of watching videos. The AMOLED display equipped on both phones is also nice as it has a lower power consumption as compared to the IPS panel of the Pocophone F1 and it gives darker blacks and a better viewing angle. For performance, both the iQOO Neo and the Pocophone F1 come with last year’s Qualcomm’s flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 845. For CPU and gaming, expect that both devices are the best picks in this comparison. However, the Mi 9T has a more efficient chip architecture which means that it is more power efficient than the other one.
The Mi 9T is the only smartphone in this comparison that has a pop-up selfie camera; however, I wouldn’t say that it is an advantage. Regardless, it also has the highest rear camera resolution among the devices here. It doesn’t mean that it’s automatically better, though, as there are more things to consider when judging a camera’s photo quality. We’ll know more once we get all three units and test their cameras back-to-back-to-back.
Feature-wise, the Pocophone F1 comes with expandable storage along with a Corning Gorilla Glass protection and the Liquid Cooling system. If you are an avid gamer and you don’t want your phone to heat up easily, go with this device. The Mi 9T, on the other hand, has an NFC support which is great when you want to pay digitally.
The VIVO iQOO stands out in terms of battery performance as it has the largest capacity among the three phones. It also has the highest wattage for fast charging which means that it could potentially charge faster than the other two phones. We’ll know more once we get a hold of the three devices in this comparison so stay tuned for that.
