Here are the advantages of each smartphone:
VIVO V11
Nokia 7 Plus
The V11 has a larger screen size, aspect ratio, and horizontal resolution compared to the Nokia 7 Plus. The former has a Super AMOLED panel which gives more vibrant whites and darker blacks while the latter’s IPS panel provides more natural colors. Users who are fond of watching videos and playing games should choose the V11 due to its better display setup.
Both smartphones carry the same Snapdragon 660 processor but there’s actually a little twist in it. The V11 only reaches 2.0GHz maximum clock speed as compared to the 22.2GHz of the Nokia 7 Plus. Based on the benchmark scores that we got from each of the devices, it clearly shows that the latter is better performing on both CPU and GPU.
Simply put, the Nokia 7 Plus is a better pick when it comes to faster performance and better gaming experience.
For the cameras, we’ve yet to do a direct comparison of the two. On paper, the Nokia 7 Plus has the advantage of having a wider main rear lens aperture and a higher secondary lens resolution. The V11, on the other hand, has a wider secondary rear lens aperture. Take a look at our sample shots for them here (VIVO V11 and Nokia 7 Plus).
The Nokia 7 Plus may have a larger battery capacity, however, its video playback time difference to the V11 is not that significant. The Former still has a longer battery life when watching videos but we commend the latter for having a close fight in this aspect.
Author’s Note: The battery lives of smartphones are heavily attributed to the Display type, CPU Clockspeed, and operating system optimization.
Users who are inclined to having a faster smartphone that has a better gaming experience and Stock Android should buy the Nokia 7 Plus. On the other hand, if they are fond of watching videos and storing files (dedicated microSD card slot), then the V11 is the right pick.
The VIVO V11 is priced at Php19,999 while the Nokia 7 Plus is priced at Php21,990. What do you guys think? Let us know your pick in the comments section below.

I got Nokia 7 Plus last Aug 4 and I loved the device since. The main disadvantage in my opinion is the stock camera app so I did a little research and found out about the Gcam Port and the results are amazing compared to the stock camera app. So Nokia 7 Plus users should download the Gcam port to bring out the maximum potential of those amazing lenses.
