Cherry Mobile is one of my favorite local brand when it comes to smartphones. Specs are ideal and worth having for. What Cherry Mobile should come up next for are Fingerprint ID and some fabulous Cherry Mobile accessories. Yun nalang talaga! ???? More power to the team! ????
For me, It would be good for the Philippine market to receive more of Cherry Mobile’s products similar to its Flare S* line up. That particular line up being known for its bang-for-the-buck hardware specifications where a monstrously large battery serves as its flagship. It would also be good if Cherry Mobile incorporates Corning/ Asahi’s glass technology into the said lineup so as to improve the durability of the screen. I think if that happens Cherry Mobile’s Flare S* line-up could be the next Nokia 3310 of our country. A legacy no phone has matched up yet, I think.

I think you guys have done a great job at covering most (if not all) ranges of Android smartphones in the market.
But if you ask me, just stick to what you guys do best, which is deciding what latest tech goes into the phone, but add a little twist. How about partnering up with a known brand and include their peripherals on your next phone? Like headphones, cases, you decide on it. It gives us consumers a bit of excitement and/or security knowing that we can invest more on the devices you release.

They should built again a smartphone that can compete in any flagship phone out there. I mean, look how ZenFone is making noise left and right, their budget friendly smartphone have the guts to compete with other brand. If they can, CM can!
Make your smartphone much powerful, make your battery life much longer, equip it with more RAM and make the dispay much clearer that can showcase vivid display. With that being said, you should make it also a budget friendly one.
It’s not about how they headline or showcase the specs, but the question is can they walk the talk? ;)
An addition to my earlier comment on this post, I’d like to see Cherry to make a smart phone that is dust and water resistant. Again, a great camera, powerful processor and a long lasting batt are total giveaways specially if you sell them for a sweet price. I want CM to have its own free storage system. Cherry Mobile has already have its Good name when it comes to specs and affordable flagships. So I think what should Cherry Mobile come up next is a sophisticated design for their mobiles and tablets, a High Definition Camera for selfie lover and also a fingerprint sensor for an additional feature.
With these I think more and more people will love cherry mobile!
Cherry Mobile should come up next with a device that is not just beautiful in specifications but also in design, durability and of course affordability. People nowadays are smart enough to choose devices that are not just great in specification sheet but also consider the reputation of the brand and its price offering. If a device falls into a reputable brand, a price that even a minimum wage earner can afford and specifications and features that beats the current market, this will surely a top notch offering that everyone shouldn’t miss.

Well, to say the least, I can’t ask for more since they have it all like LITERALLY. They have bunch of Android smartphones for all budget ranges, they also introduced devices running on Windows – the first local brand to do so, ranging from smartphones to tablet/laptop hybrids. They also introduced the first Firefox OS smartphone available in the country. Don’t forget that they’re also the first local brand to release a device running on NVidia Tegra chipset. (The Magnum 2X and Tegra Note 7) So with all of that, I think the best thing that Cherry Mobile should come up next is a flagship smartphone series running on either Snapdragon or Mediatek Helios chipsets (Intel Atom would also be a good choice) with atleast 3GB of RAM and sell it for not less than 10,000 pesos. Of course, they should also consider the BATTERY on this one providing it with atleast 2,400mAh or higher depending on its display resolution. Just to add, they should also include bunch of USABLE features and home-brewed apps such as Fitness app, Photo-editing tools, Fingerprint sensor, Smart gestures and the likes. That’s all and more power to Cherry Mobile !

It’s not really necessary to release another monster phone. What CM should come up next is to build a trade-in recycling program that would ensure products would be completely recycled in an environmentally safe way that maximizes reuse of all components. Green phone should be the next target. CM should make phone out of post-consumer waste material. An efficient charger or solar-powered battery would be great too. Let’s go green!

As Cherry Mobile now going toe to toe with International Producers of budget phones like Meizu, Xiaomi, Blackview and many more, you can sure think that Cherry Mobile is brewing a phone that as again bang for the buck like the Cherry Mobile Flare X but with much more sophistication.
They can always look at the international phone producers and I can’t escape to think of the thousand possibilities that Cherry Mobile might do. In my opinion it would be a cheaper and better version of the newly released Meizu MX5. MX5 can be a really good inspiration and I think Cherry Mobile might do a somewhat similar phone like this.
The phone may support an all metal finish with almost no bezel like the s6, 5.5 inch amoled screen or full HD OGS protected by Gorilla glass 3. They can also take from xiaomi the idea of the screens sunlight eligibility. With that, the phone I think can be powered of the new mediated processor Helios and 3gb Ram. 16gb storage but expandable up to 128GB. a Battery of 3,200mah would be awesome and to have a better battery saving technology will surely hit lots of customers. and of course, we couldn’t forget that they may also include a really good camera, maybe 13 or 20 megapixel with max aperture or 2.0
Surely, Cherry mobile is doing a great phone by now and with that they are improving also their customer support and OTA updates for the phones software.

I think Cherry Mobile should start looking into phones that can be hooked to become a computer or tablet. Imagine taking your phone into work and plugging into your monitor port and do your things.
The game of the future is portability. People should be able to do all things just by using q single device. Motorola already did the concept and eventually released a unit (I forgot) but unfortunately it didn’t worked-out fine.

Cherry Mobile’s Flare X is this year’s bang for the buck which I really admire from Cherry Mobile, ramping up the competition. But most people are still saying that CM will not be able to lead the phne tech industry in the country. I beg to disagree. CM has a great future ahead. A future that would start with a phone model that would debunk the idea that local brands are not worth the buy.
A few things that I would like to CM to put on their new phone models are either of these
Fast charging technology for batteries with juices higher than 3000mAh.
Filipinos are always on the go. Though a phone can keep up with my daily activities, it would like it to be always on the go just like me and what better way to do that than to incorporate fast charging technology?
Fast and consistent Android OS updates.
A major let down about phones is that they are easily outdated. I think people are still going with iOS devices because of this. Apple’s products are consistently updated and not just twice or twice. Fast update of OTA update of the OS will be a sure-fire win for CM if it were to adopt this measure. Android M anyone? but if we could be ambitious, I am hoping that CM would develop it’s own OS. A Pinoy OS.
The 5.5 inch war is going to be over soon, better make an impact now or start the new revolution. Edges and curves are already making their way in the phone scene, CM should be too. Recreate your design. Make sure your flagship is worth remembering. Drop the edge, curve and flex, what’s next for the Filipinos?
Light sensors is what most of us hold onto. The competition is tight when it comes to cameras. BSI and sensors are two of the things that I immediately fall for. This generation is photo-savy, improve your sensors and beef up your camera options. I’m sure the Filipinos will bite this improvement seeing that most of us are phonetographers.
Another thing that I really like about a phone is vast multitasking capabilities. Two windows at the same time? that would be sweet! put that 5.5 inch into use! I’m sure you’ll be able to lure both tech savy and business people with this kind of technology. With that being said, a new security system wouldn’t hurt.
Minimalistic UI is what we all need. In a fast paced world, the last thing we want to see on our phone is clutter. Sure, everyone wants their phones to be advanced and specs beefed but at the end of the day, we want a phone that would understand our needs. This is actually one of the strengths of every android phone’s competitor. Though the competitor is overpriced, people buy them because they feel comfortable and easy to use. People need homes not mansions.
For the physical details, ergonomic keys are total giveaways. Nothing beats comfort and ease of use. With that being said, drop the power button on the top.

As the rumors go, they will be releasing another Android ONE smartphone, and that is another great leap for them because Cherry Mobile is targeting to bring high spec’d smartphone to buyers that are on a budget.
And also they should be upgrading their camera sensors so that the customers would have an amazing experience with it, and the UI must be optimized for true and fluid performance of the smartphone because ITS NOT HOW FAST THE PHONE IS BUT HOW WELL OPTIMIZED IT IS, even though it a single or dual core processor, and further improve the build quality of their handsets. and bring some useful specs to the affordable range, like the Double-tap-to-wake and gestures to make it more like and advanced phone.

For me they have covered almost all aspects of the game. High end specs (at least on paper), on a low-end or midrange budget.
I think they should come up with a more robust design phones with IP67 rating or higher. Settle on a 5-inch OLED panel for more battery friendly unit. 720p or 1080p screen res should also be the standard, imo. never forget the dual sim support and Add in an LTE support on at least one sim card slot. BIG BATTERY AND QUICK CHARGE! :D
And finally, vanilla android all across the units! :D not only that it will help extend the unit’s life cycle but also Cherry will gain more respect from their fans.

What should Cherry Mobile come up next? They must release an Android One phone that meets what the Filipinos want for a price that what we also want. It must have a good camera quality (both front and back, back camera with a flash), good battery quality (can last longer than 5 hours), 1GB RAM (or up), LTE ready, atleast 5″ screen, and must be affordable (because it is an Android One phone, about Php5,500 – Php8,000). actually most of the things you’ve mentioned were already included with the first Android One device the “Cherry Mobile One”
it comes with a good battery quality, mine lasts for 9 to 10 hours or so depending on the usage, has 1Gb ram and decent camera quality, I have compared the camera samples with an iPhone and it’s relatively close to the quality it can provide. LTE is an ok thing, but seriously who needs LTE if there are only selected areas that caters to LTE.
There are so many consumers looking for higher battery life, but it is possible to use your phone while charging, a certain mode that allows you to alter your power supply when charging, you can toggle either direct power from the charger or from the battery for a safer charging.
IDEA!!!, or a charging mode that automatically change to direct current mode so that the battery wont be overcharged, so that users don’t have to worry if their phone was unattended, that would be ok I guess?

After a day of assimilating ideas and comparing hard-wares inside my mind I think li-polymer battery can result in credit card thin designs while still holding relatively good battery life. In addition, lithium-polymer batteries are very lightweight and have improved SAFETY. However, these batteries will cost more to manufacture and have a worse energy density than lithium-ion batteries. YES!, Cherry Mobile can expand their battery backup in every phone if they use li-polymer batteries, but the energy density will increase so their phone must be capable of fast charging technology if the consumers want a higher battery backup, on the other hand, when li-ion was used the phone’s thickness will likely increase, making a builtin li-polymer battery would be a best decision if the consumers want a energy efficient smartphones, yes it can be removable but the phone will be thicker, most likely,some smartphone users despise using built in batteries due to some instances where their phone starts to HANG, maybe that’s why, but if a phone has an external key that cuts off battery supply a button that cuts the power supply between the phone and the battery, well that would be ok, because there is no perfect smartphone hard-wares will loose its full functionality time after time. Having a monstrous processing power gives a great downside in the phone, it consumes higher power and drains the battery faster, so a higher battery backup is needed.

what i think should cherry mobile do is to by having more android one devices instead of sticking with other lines since this is the most sought after line on android that gives consumers the ability to update their phone from google itselft rather than OEM. moreover, the android one devices are inclined to be more affordable among the masses especially Filipinos and this would solidify how android devices should be offered by OEMS. Free of bloatwares and other worrisome issues, android one is good for the masses to have better security updates and easy fixes from official distribution.
if they are able to put a ground on this, next is their hardware, particularly the battery department, they should offer more batteries on phones which has a lot of demand, this would establish a good ground for the phones to stay longer even if in stock, they have low maH. Most of us knows that there are power banks to cover for this but that is not just the issue here but we want the phone to stay longer and be ready to be used when battery are broken. I for example, had the Arc Mobile Memo, and it has been with me for 3 years… after 2 years the phone’s battery were bloated and i needed replacement, luckily, i had another battery by using the Samsung note 2’s battery. If batteries can easily be bought, it would be a win-win for us. (well, you can make a trend where in each package of phone, there are two batteries as what is seen on china phones over the internet, we need that extra, and it is always a plus for us.)
next are availability on accessories, this could give customers the needed customization and protection for their phone.
features they should standardize are LTE and 16 gb storage, this should be the norm, if this is made as a basis on their phone, most of the Filipinos will get the top notch speed of networks and have great love for bigger local storage on phone. Ram can be made at least 1 gb.
and lastly, they should establish themselves more on online shopping with Cash-on-Delivery. if they keep on making it first on kiosks, it would be hard for consumers who are away from that area to avail on it.. worst, it would take us weeks to get our hands on it. with this online shopping store with COD mode of payment, it would give cherry mobile some better stretch on their sales since this is the future of market consumption, they should not ignore this, i noticed that they are pitching online market with outdated phones. they should get this right and CM would continue to get more attention and consumer consumption.
CM is a good company, i know they are reading feedback, they also act on it. Just continue doing great on delivering affordable phones (quality over quantity), we want phones with great stretch to our budget but make us love what we have bought.. This is a great CONTEST!!, I’ve been waiting for a year for them to do this kind of assimilating PROGRAM, a consumer-producer relation to provide a product that meets up the consumers standards. A WISE decision indeed!!!, anyways!!!, the answer is simple!, cherry could’ve been a more competitive brand if cherry has this qualities of a phone:
1st is a li-polymer battery that ranges from 3500 mah above in order to give high quality smartphones that last longer,
2nd is faster GPU Qualcomm Adreno 430 would be a decent one already and overclocked processors for mobiles like intel processors intel atom to be specific for android of course to give users not only high quality gaming and browsing experience but a faster processing capabilities 1.9ghz is a decent processing power already.
3rd an ultra pixel camera in order to compete with the latest phones, camera that can provide manual focus would be awesome and cool!!!, 41 MP is too much,13 MP is clear already how much more if the camera is 41 MP?, that would be a great innovation!!!.
4th is a screen that at-least gives off 500 ppi pixel density, a Super AMOLED plus 1080p full HD screen or RETINA displays for more vibrant realistic colors 30 fps is a decent rendering already!!!.

6th is a speaker that can cope up with its monstrous screen quality.

With its continuous improvement, I think Cherry Mobile should come up next with an action camera. Because nowadays its “IN” and many people out there wants to capture action videos of themselves. With that, CM should offer a tough-built, high-quality camera lenses, and best-possible-designed action camera.
I’m going to be honest here. . . Cherry Mobile released a lot of android phones this yeas and they were all very competitive when it comes to pricing. and I think this brand is now #1 here when it comes to competition. The problem is all Mobile phone companies (and I do mean all) only go for the kind of phones that they think”are trending in today’s standards. The market is flooded with 5 Inch Flagships and above, only differs slightly on specs. Seriously! almost all of them are the same. How about those people with small hands who wants a compact flagship phone worthy of Cherry Mobile’s pricing that fits in their pockets?(3.5 – 4.3 inches) I’m sure a lot of people are looking for that feature but are left with no other options but to buy 5inch + phones which every single hone maker sells today. What about the classic T9 physical keyboard which is only available for feature phones? It’s convenient because we can type on one hand without even looking at our handsets, I’m sure there’s a lot of people who wants a physical keyboard on android but nobody offers that anymore. Cherry mobile released Flare S3 was good but it does not have Flagship specs, I hope to see a High end phone with a HUGE battery 5-6k Mah, not all people care if their phone is slim, as long as the battery will last long. I hope cherry mobile can fill this gap on the market and cater to the chunk of buyers who wants this kind of features.
That is why my friend SMARTPHONE developers provide an app that allows you to decrease your screen’s size, and I prefer a wider one it can provide users some sort of exercise actually , trying to extend your fingers on the screen can be considered as an exercise it makes you forcibly extend your thumb on the screen, anyway there are so many apps on the store that allows you also on trailing letters to provide words for easier interface so many apps actually!.

Whats really good to see cherry mobile do is enter the market of action cam with a budget friendly but very competitive that even rival the likes of GoPro. This would be good as there’s little to no local companies that make action camera. Also make a phone that rival s6, g4, z3+, op2, m9 etc., not mediocre flagship. Although thay make good mid-range phone, they dont really make high-end devices with top of the line tech. Hope you’ll read this.
