Launched just a couple of weeks ago, the Huawei E355 is a unique USB stick because it’s a 3G dongle that also serves as a WiFi hotspot. If you’re itching to have one of these, here’s your chance to win this unit.

We’ve already shared with you how the Huawei E355 works here and mentioned that it’s a really affordable 3G USB dongle and WiFi Hotspot in one (retail price is Php2,559USD 44INR 3,697EUR 42CNY 318).

Now our friends from Emperyan Computer sent us this review unit to just give away to readers. We’re sure a lot of you are interested to have this one so we’re making it really easy again.

Carrying a device that gives internet access to my laptop is, I think, a better way to surf the internet rather than connecting to a public WiFi that can harm my computer. Well who wants to their laptop to be seen by other people thru that network, not me, maybe that person will access my shhhhh folders ;)

    I want this gadget because I am currently subscribed in an unlisurf postpaid plan. My phone, which came free with the plan, is a blackberry 9320 which this site has recommended in its “Top 10 Smartphones on a P10k budget” entry (which BTW really helped me in deciding which phone to buy based on my budget and necessity). I am very happy with my phone especially that it has a hotspot which enables me to share the internet access with my laptop which I am using for work, however, the phone runs at HSDPA 7.2mbps maximum speed, hence, very slow connection. That’s why, upon learning of the huawei E355 wifi usb stick with an HSPA+ speed of up to 21.6Mbps (plus, it’s OPENLINE), I immediately wrote it on my TO BUY list to maximize the use of my postpaid plan (my team would really be thankful if i have this on our out-of-town engagements since it can support up to 5 wifi devices)…however, I’m still saving money in order to buy it which may take a little longer due to my additional fixed expense…the postpaid plan.
